This is a kayak event - happening in northern Norway, in Vesterålen. Every last whole week in July.
We welcome you to ASKR – The annual meet for ocean paddlers from all over the world; it was arranged for the first time in 1991. Here competition paddlers, leisure paddlers and novices gather for a pleasurable week of paddling that combines both socializing and learning in breathtaking natural surroundings. As last year, the events of 2017 will be located at the venerable old fishing village at Skipnes, located on the seaward side of the Vesterålen islands, at 69 degrees north latitude in northern Norway.
