AuroraSpirit is the worlds northernmost distillery with its own visitor centre.



"Aurora Spirit has established a unique Whisky distillery that attracts international attention with its spectacular location. The Lyngen Alps, the fjord, the Northern Lights and the Arctic wilderness provide an excellent setting for making whisky and other alcohol products under the brand name Bivrost. The products are based on local herbs, berries and melted glacier water.Opening hours may vary during different seasons.Our most popular experience is the “Arctic Whisky Experience“, where visitors will be guided through the distillery and warehouse."

We had an amazing visit with a small group! They do everything with passion, products are tasty, and food at dinner was excellent and local! Small cabins were with beautiful few to the sea and breakfast was really nice! High recommendation for everyone to visit!
I had been looking forward to this distillery tour for months, and it did not disappoint! Every aspect of Aurora Spirit is phenomenal. The atmosphere, the passion in the employees, the spirits themselves - everything exceeded expectations. I hope to make it back one day!

My wife cried when we left. Beautiful cabin, super friendly staff, and the most peaceful and stunning surroundings. The distillery was great and the whisky, gin, vodka and aquavit were delicious! 10/10 make this your next getaway.
A great place for people interested in distillation, those who like spirits or who simply want to spend time in a charming environment. During the tour of the distillery and the warehouse, we learn about the distillation process, the details related to it, we also learn about the history of the establishment of this distillery, the current situation on the alcohol market and interesting facts about the barrels currently stored in the warehouse. Our guide was Sarah, who covered each topic in detail and was always open to questions. We will definitely come back to this place. Thank you Sarah for the wonderful time we spent and tasting your products together.

Fun wisky destilery tur! Highly recommended. The staf was nice and knowledgeable. We also booked a cabin so non of us had to drive home : The region is gorgeous so we had a really nice time.
The most northern distillery in the world, and they make delicious whisky you can't get from anywhere else in the world than here. Take the tour, it's really informative and you get a tasting of their finest spirits!
