Historie

Beito Husky Tours is the home of 45 huskies in the heart of Norway, at the feet of the Jotunheimen National Park, close to Beitostølen Resort.

We are passionate about what we do, and our focus is for our dogs & guests to have a good time, providing interesting and meaningful nature experiences all year around, involving our huskies whenever possible.

Dog sledding is our main winter activity. Summertime we keep our huskies active by arranging Husky Cart Safaris (dog sledding on wheels), Puppy training and bringing them along in Mountain Hikes.

We also use canoes, pack rafts in the summer, and snow shoes in the winter, to explore this magnificent mountain region.

Our principle is that anybody should be able to enjoy nature. We have a solution orientated mind, and see every challenge as an opportunity. Disability is not a barrier!

Our mission is to inspire you, excite you and engage you into our world. We want our guests to feel richer in friends & experiences when leaving from here. We are truly passionate about what we do, and we will try to share that feeling with you!

We love our dogs and it´s such a privilege to work with them everyday. They are caring & friendly and get easily attached to any that shows them affection. Their work ethic and high spirits are truly infectious. It´s our pride to introduce them to our visitors and our goal to help creating more knowledge and understanding about sled dogs.

- Chinook Adventure Trail, 3 hrs. dogsledding
- Lokes day out, whole day tour, dogsledding
- Trappers Trail (snowshoe safari, ice-fishing, wilderness dinner)

Winter Adventures:
- Huldraheimen Explorer (3 days dogsledding adventure)
- Langsua Traverse ( 4 days dogsledding adventure)
- Back Country assisted dogsledge

We also arrange teambuilding, kick off, incentives for groups & companies.
