Historie

THE COMPANY
Brattvaag Marine Services AS was established on 1 February 2015 and operates a workshop, office and warehouse at Daleveien 9 in Brattvåg, Norway.



OWNERSHIP
BMS is owned by three equitable shareholders. We are also joined by Rea Maskin AS which has worked with Marine Diesel Engines for 30 years. Rolf Aspestrand from Rea Maskin is our sales director for Marine Diesel Engines.



HUMAN CAPITAL
As of 2017, the company will have three working owners. We will intensify our focus on providing parts and servicing medium-speed engines and smaller diesel engines to the aquaculture and fishing industries. Our electric endeavours will be our main focus and will be managed by our project manager and business developer, Trond Skjelten.



ENVIRONMENTAL TECHNOLOGY AND VALUE CREATION IN THE COMMUNITY
We are fully committed to local value creation and ownership and wish to bring the community into the future by focusing on new technology and the development of environmentally friendly marine propulsion. Our intention is to increase the number of employees to eight people by 2018.



We have seen a huge amount of waste of resources in the world in recent years, and our contribution is to buy and sell used and refurbished engines and parts to customers. Taking care of materials and maintaining equipment are the key to profitability. Offering an equivalent solution that is not new is economically sound and increases competitiveness.
