Brekkestranda Fjordhotell was designed by renowned architect, Bjørn Simonnæs in 1970. The entire property is constructed using Norwegian pine and 1100 unique windows of various shapes and sizes, with a living roof. It's a breathtaking waterfront experience. Overlooking the Sognefjord, this hotel is in the village of Brekke, 5 minutes from European Route E39.
Most rooms have full or partial fjord views with either a private balcony or patio.
Brekkestranda’s waterfront restaurant serves tantalizing dishes based on traditional local fare. Featuring domestically caught seafood, all-natural beef and locally-grown produce, we dish up authentic Norwegian fare. In addition, innovative cocktails and drinks are served at Vedskjulet, our full-service bar.
