Historie

Pizzarestaurant med karakter i Tromsø sentrum.
Vi har tatt med oss litt av Italia til polarsirkelen. Med vår vedfyrte steinovn serverer vi autentiske pizzaer laget av italienske kokker i napolitansk stil samt kvalitetsvin fra Italia. Alt dette i en steampunk inspirert atmosfære.
Vi satser på autentisk italiensk meny, både når det gjelder mat og drikke. Dog legger vi inn flere lokale råvarer og ikke minst microbrygget Tromsø-øl (fra Bryggeri 13) som husets øl.
Casa Inferno er både en opplevelse for smaken av det Italienske og det visuelle i form av nyskapende stil. Åpent alle dager i uken.

Pizza Restaurant with character in Tromsø. We have brought with us a piece of Italy to the Arctic Circle. With our wood-fired stone oven we serve authentic pizzas made by Italian chefs in Neapolitan style and many quality wines from Italy. All this in a steampunk inspired atmosphere.
We focus on authentic Italian pizza and ingredients, both in terms of food and drink. However, we also incorporate fine local products like our own house beer and a few selection of other beers all brewed in Tromsø by our friends at Bryggeri13.
Casa Inferno is both an experience for the taste of the Italian cuisine and also a visual experience for the innovative style. Open every day of the week.

We accept bookings for any number of people but only for days between sundays and thursdays! (we can try and make special exceptions for groups above 15stk or early arrivals before 18:00)

Amazing and delicious but a bit on the expensive side. Really tasty thick crust pizza with fresh ingredients. The pizzas are not very big, about 30-35cm in diameter, but are very dense in a good way and filling, so if you are not super hungry then 2 people can share a pizza making it a really good deal. They have a good selection of pizzas both with and without tomato sauce. And the vegetarian pizzas can easily be made vegan. Also an option for gluten free bottom but you really want to taste the original crust. During the child months, you should rest in the restaurant so the pizza is warm and crusty.
The restaurant is a bit far from the centre reference radisson blue hotel by walking distance around 8minutes in the cold but need to go uphill with a risk of slipping. After going there since reviews were good, they told us at the door that they don’t have anymore dough for the pizza. It was 8.30pm. Maybe the taste is good since the pizza on the table of the customers looked great but would not risk going another time.
The place was opening at 4 PM. At 4.03 PM there was already a queue. Let it tell you something about how good is this place. The waiters were really nice and managed to find us a spot even without reservation. The interior is kept in a steam punm like style which was surprisingly fitting for a pizzeria. We got a truffle pizza and the flaming hot one. And when I say flaming, I mean it was literally on fire. However, from the two, I liked the truffle one more, it was just perfect. But I'm a boar, I just love truffles.

Whether dining solo or with a group, the restaurant exudes an inviting charm that makes every visit feel like a special occasion. Great atmosphere, good food, and they actually offer good gluten free pizza which is a big thing. We attended as a big group and the server went around to double check for any allergies before ordering and bringing the food. Been there several times and it's always great. Good drinks as well. Delicious woodfire pizza and decent selection of wine : casual vibes and friendly staff. Gets really busy so don't forget to book! Tiramisu is really good too.Mat: 5/5
Beste Pizza jeg har fått servert i Norge, uten tvil. Godt øl og god stemning. Fullt på kveldstid så det kan lønne seg å reservere bord men verten organiserte plass til oss på kort varsel. Vannvittig gode vente-oliven.Mat: 5/5
We arrived in Tromsø late in the evening and had a hard time deciding where to eat. Casa Inferno accepted our take-out order 30 minutes to closing and were very gracious when we arrived. Pizza was delicious and would highly recommend the berry pana cotta. Would have loved to stay and eat in as it was a great ambience. Alternativer for vegetarianere: The ortolana was fantastic!
