My recent visit left me spellbound by their tantalizing array of pizzas, but it was the Inferno pizza that stole the show – quite literally on fire! From the moment I stepped inside, the ambience exuded warmth and authenticity, setting the stage for a memorable dining experience. The staff greeted me with genuine warmth and guided me through their menu with enthusiasm, showcasing their passion for pizza-making. The Inferno pizza, true to its name, was a fiery masterpiece. Topped with an exquisite blend of spicy salami, jalapeños, and a hint of chilli oil, each bite ignited a flavorful explosion. But what truly set this pizza apart was its presentation – arriving at the table engulfed in flames - it was as much a feast for the eyes as it was for the taste buds. Beyond the Inferno pizza, Casa Inferno offers a diverse selection of toppings to suit every preference, from classic Margheritas to inventive creations that push the boundaries of traditional pizza-making The crust, perfectly crispy yet delightfully chewy, served as a flawless canvas for the flavorful toppings. Amazing and delicious but a bit on the expensive side. Really tasty thick crust pizza with fresh ingredients. The pizzas are not very big, about 30-35cm in diameter, but are very dense in a good way and filling, so if you are not super hungry then 2 people can share a pizza making it a really good deal. They have a good selection of pizzas both with and without tomato sauce. And the vegetarian pizzas can easily be made vegan. Also an option for gluten free bottom but you really want to taste the original crust. During the child months, you should rest in the restaurant so the pizza is warm and crusty.
The restaurant is a bit far from the centre reference radisson blue hotel by walking distance around 8minutes in the cold but need to go uphill with a risk of slipping. After going there since reviews were good, they told us at the door that they don’t have anymore dough for the pizza. It was 8.30pm. Maybe the taste is good since the pizza on the table of the customers looked great but would not risk going another time.
The place was opening at 4 PM. At 4.03 PM there was already a queue. Let it tell you something about how good is this place. The waiters were really nice and managed to find us a spot even without reservation. The interior is kept in a steam punm like style which was surprisingly fitting for a pizzeria. We got a truffle pizza and the flaming hot one. And when I say flaming, I mean it was literally on fire. However, from the two, I liked the truffle one more, it was just perfect. But I'm a boar, I just love truffles.
Pizza er enkel mat, men den bør være god og "italiensk". Det fikk vi på Casa Inferno. Blant de beste pizzaene vi har smakt, og vi har smakt en del gjennom mange år. Vi kan legge til at hun som serverte oss gav god service, lokalene var hyggelige og at vi kunne drikke italiensk øl, Peroni, til maten. Bygningen ellers kunne gjerne skremme bort kunder, den har et stort forbedringspotensial. Stedet kan anbefales på det varmeste!

We were about to give up on the food in Tromso and then we found this place! Some of the best pizza I've had outside Italy. Some other reviews mentioned that it was too expensive, but it seemed more reasonably priced than most other places we ate at in Norway. $100 for two pizzas and two drinks plus olives and almonds. We paid $70 for poor quality fish and chips and a veggie burger and soda elsewhere. Nice ambience and good service, friendly people!
