I stayed in a single room with a shared bathroom and toilet. The furniture and bathrooms may look a little old and worn but everything was very clean and functional. I never had a problem waiting for the communal toilets or showers. The sink and mirror in the room were very practical for getting ready in the morning in private. I met several different people at reception and they were all perfect, smiling and ready to help. It's a 10 or 15 minute walk from the city centre but quite pleasant as it's right next to the royal palace. From the train station with luggage, you have to take the bus anyway but it's very well served and easy. The only negative point is that the windows are not soundproof at all. We could hear all the noise from the street, which is quite noisy. I used earplugs and was able to sleep peacefully otherwise.
A true gem! Rooms are spacious and some, like mine, have a small fridge, stove and microwave. Great location in an upscale neighborhood a short distance by foot or tram from central Oslo. Superb service from the staff at this family business.Rom: 5/5
Good value for the room. Staff were friendly and helpful. Good location near the lite rail. Safe location as well. We are a family of five. They had an extra bed waiting on us in the room nice touch. Just be aware that if arriving by car, there really is no parking. Neighborhood has places to grab food within walking distance.Rom: 4/5
Great relatively inexpensive place to stay for a solo trip to Oslo! I am very happy with my accommodations. I did the premium single room with shared bathroom so the bathroom was shared with only one other person. The space was clean and safe, and the location was great. The staff were friendly. Breakfast is not included but there is a free coffee machine.
I liked it. It doesn't have all the comfort of other hotels but for the price it is a good deal. Reception is available and kind, rooms are big and have TV and Wi-fi. The location is also good, walkable distance to the center and most of the attractions.Rom: 5/5
Really good spot for the city break. Prices are affordable for non Scandinavians location is great, you can take a 10k walk around the city and you’ll visit 80% of the things you might be interested to see. There is also a nice underground parking 10minut walk from the hotel with good price I do not recommend the one just next to the hotel, it’s just too expensive even with the hotel discount WiFi worked great, room was clean as well as the bathroom. If you need to use more then one electric outlet then bring your own electric splitter as there is just one for each bed two if you disconnect lamp. We didn’t eat breakfast there so I cannot say anything. Staff was very friendly and helpful. I will recommend this place to you:
Great location and budget friendly if willing to do with less. Free coffee in lobby and great staff who are willing to help you get the most out of Oslo. We had a great time! Aktiviteter i nærheten: Downstairs in the same building was a coffee shop and a restaurant. Blocks from several attractions. Safe area... Fremkommelighet til fots: Like 1 block or 2 from different tram and bus stops. 7/11 near by to buy ruter transportation tickets. Mat og drikke: Free to use coffee machine for guests anytime available
Poor location. The hotel location is far from the city centre, 30 mins. There are tan and bus that could teach the location but still require you to walk 5-10 mins after you got off. Quite an inconvenience location. Besides the hotel is located at the very busy intersection, with many car and tram passing. There are also some restaurant and bar around the area. It could be really loud at night.
The location is extremely good nearly all touristic areas are walk away and there is tram on next street. Our room didn't have toilet, public toilet was clean and wasn't busy. Overall it was good experience. Fremkommelighet til fots: Very close to tram
Great location for first time travelling to Oslo. Walking distance to everything. Covered by trams and metro. Highly recommended for its huge value for money location and the comfort and cleanliness of the hotel, common area, shared WC and bathroom and room. Rom: Clean, well kept and comfortable Sikkerhet: Safe to walk around and stay by oneself Fremkommelighet til fots: Centrally located to main tourist attractions
