Hacienda Film is an independent award-winning production company. Our focus is series, documentaries and campaigns with emphasis on making knowledge entertaining, emotional and engaging.

Geschichte
Bår Tyrmi and Dag Mykland have worked together for almost a decade. Together we have worked on topics ranging from all sorts of technology, the environment, climate change and finance (micro and macro) to foreign aid, human health, politics and conflict. We have always been open to try different genres and find new and innovative ways of presenting a topic. This approach to complex topics have resulted in dramas, science-fictions, documentaries, realities, corporate presentations and even musicals! To name a few.

In 2013 we decided to start our own company HACIENDA to be able to focus more on the projects we really like. That does not mean we’re picky. We like to work with all sorts of different stories, publications, historical events or even documenting innovative processes in any field. We are good at digging into complex jumping-off points, and finding new and compelling ways to tell the story.
