Info Sula Rorbuer - A Holiday Paradise By The Sea Geschichte Sula is a fishermen's paradise, an archipelago in the municipality of Frøya in Sør-Trøndelag county, Central Norway. We offer a variety of fun and challenging activities both on land and sea. At Sula Rorbuer og Havhotell, luxury meets comfort with an extraordinary overview of the village of Sula and the vast ocean that surrounds this typically Norwegian fishing island with history dating back to the 1200s. The many red wooden houses by the sea, the abundant fauna that inhabits the place and the feeling of freedom that releases an unlimited creativity, are only a few of the attractions that Sula has to offer. At the moment we have apartments, hotel rooms and full houses for rental. We also have boats of all preferences, kayaks, canoes and paddling boats for rental. At the moment we are working in a new concept, so we invite you to follow us! Sula og Sulsværet Sulsværet er ei øygruppe i frontlinjen ut mot storhavet, 1,5 mil ut for Fast-Frøya. Fra den 35 meter høge Sulshaugen, toppen av Stor-Sula, kan en se ut over et evertyrlig øyrike. Sula-eiendommen omfattet tidligere flere mindre øygrupper - Fjølværet, Lyngværet, Vågsvær, Humlingsværet, og i en tid også fiskeværet Kya. Sula er et av de store fiskeværene i Midt-Norge, og været har fra gammelt av hatt en svært tett bebyggelse, på vestsiden av Sulsvågen. Jordressursene synes beskjedne, likevel var det fram til omkring andre verdenskrig mange kyr og sauer på Sula. Kyrne gikk på beite på føllingen (øst for Sulsvågen) om sommeren, men de var ikke redde for å legge på svøm over til de andre øyende i været.
