Info Inger Meyer is a Norwegian artist. Living in Herøy, Norway. Summer gallery at Herøy, Helgeland in Norway. www.ingermeyerart.com Geschichte I did not come up with a story on how and why I create my art. I do not feel the need to explain everything with words- then I would be a writer... I did not tell you how my inner feelings was expressed through my creations, because I really don’t know exactly what went through my head, as I was painting something I was really pleased with in the end. Sometimes a painting is resting in my studio for a year or more, and then suddenly it make sense to me and I finish it. Sometimes it only needs a 10 minute quick fix and it is done. Maybe it just needed the time away from me- to mature, maybe I needed the time to mature... I just know I disappear into a state of mind I do not fully comprehend, as I can not recreate this state of mind on purpose, I can not force the creativity, and I can not make myself float... All I know is that feedback from you all, and my "collectors", are the reason I go to my studio and allow myself the opportunity to be carried into this zone of creation, this state of distance from everything and presence in my art.
