Come and visit our Fisherman's Paradise: a serene setting for recreational fishing in the trollish atmosphere of the Norweigan mountains.

Geschichte
Set in Vingelen in the county Hedmark our campsite offers an authentic Norwegian camping experience with its traditional log huts in the Norwegian wilderness.

Only 10 minutes away from the small town of Tolga and 15 minutes away from Tynset the campsite has good connections with trains from Oslo as well as being 30 minutes away from the small airport in Røros.

Kvennan Camping is situated on the banks of the largest river in Norway: Glomma. The river is famous not only for its volume, but for its fish, where grayling, whitefish, trout and pike are the most common catches.

The Northern Østerdal offers a unique culture with activities that suit everyone. As a national park the small town of Vingelen offers guided tours, The Church and School museum, The Brick-a-Brack shop and visits to authentic highland farms. The town of Røros offers souvenir-shopping set in a heritage village.
