Info Vulkana er en stolt gammel ishavsskøyte som er bygget om til flytende restaurant og arktisk spa med badestamp, badstu og hamam. Velkommen ombord! Geschichte The Vulkana was built in 1957, designed for seasonal fishing. During the summer she fished for herring, while in the winter drift nets were laid for cod and pollock. In spring she hunted whale around Spitzbergen. In 2009, architect Sami Rintala carefully redesigned the vessel, utilizing her traditional shape. Where once 60 tons of cod were stored, there is now a Japanese inspired Zen Lounge and a Turkish hammam. The main deck features a wood-fired sauna, and a restaurant that seats up to 12. A viewing deck and a saltwater hot tub are available on deck. We can take up to 18 guest! We would love to help you arrange the perfect trip for your special occasion!
