Guitar building The Story

Pinehome Guitars was founded in 2011 by Tom Furuheim from Slemmestad, Norway. He originally started out by pulling together guitars with parts from other companies. He was at the mercy of the quality the other companies sent him. This was not to his satisfaction, so he started  making his own parts. Before he started making electric guitars by his own two hands, he actually made acoustic guitars. He has not made many of these due to other time consuming work, but the quality and tone from these instruments are up there with the best. In 2013 he decided to make his own electric guitars from scratch. It took some time to plan, but in May 2014 the first guitar was done.
A custom T-type, with a beautiful flame top, featuring a finish that was pretty much the Jamaican flag on the body. See trough nitro lacquer of the highest quality. Pickups were delivered from Lundgren Pickups. Single coil sized P90’s that made the guitar sing like a Les Paul, but still retain the clarity of a Tele. The handcrafted body and neck produced sustain of another world. Another T-type was finished in end of July 2014. The same quality of work, tone and sustain retains. Well.. That was the start anyway.
