Smed T. Kristiansen AS is a Stavanger based mechanical worksop working for the oil and gas industry on the Norwegian Continental shelf.

Geschichte
Even if Smed T. Kristiansen AS is currently run by the family's third generation, our goal remains the same: to deliver quality products on time.

The only thing that never changes is change itself. Early in the last century Toralf Kristiansen started the Smed T. Kristiansen as a blacksmith in Tasta, Stavanger. His son, Magne, inherited the business and modified it to serve the needs of Stavanger's burgeoning oil industry.

He was industrious and open minded, and soon found a niche in the market. This was forming U bolts, an ideal job for a smith. Today our customers' offshore business benefits from practical knowledge handed down over three generations.

In 2003 the company invested in a new production facility and workshop. Ten people are working for Smed T. Kristiansen AS, now located in Dusavik, Stavanger.

Our company is small and therefore flexible, ready to meet the needs of our customers.
