Eikre-fly AS was established in 2002 by Norwegian fly fishing profile Erik Eikre. The company is located in the best dry fly fishing destination in Scandinavia - Hemsedal, Norway. Home of the famous Hemsila River. With a decades long background in competition flyfishing we felt the flytying market to be severely lacking without the quality flytying products from Hends and Siman Ltd. So we decided to import and distribute these products for the Norwegian retail market. Giving the local flyfishers a new dimension in flytying and thus flyfishing. It was a success from day one, and it was only natural that our range of products would develop further to cover the needs of the discerning flyfishers in Scandinavia and around the world. Our latest developments are 4 series of flyrods under our own brand, and our innovative and high quality Varius flyreel. We are constantly working on new products, working closely with the best manufacturers in the world and our own team of highly skilled and accomplished anglers. Our products are severely tested in Scandinavia and New Zealand prior to being introduced to the market.
