“The 8 man kung fu blues rock orchestra, Fabian Noir, is a fresh and exciting new band in town. Their musical spectre is widely embraced with deep roots in blues and rock n roll. Inspired by artists such as Muddy Waters, Albert King, Shuggie Otis and Cream. They’re challenging the commercial structure of music in a modern psychedelic manner with creative artisticness in their freshly baked upcoming single “Howlin Wolf”. Their untraditional and heavy hitting soundscape is also inspired by legends like Pink Floyd, Led Zeppelin, the funky group Fat Freddy’s Drop as well as local heroes Madrugada. Fabian, is a accompanied by 7 of Norway’s finest up and coming young musicians blowing heavy riffs through a neat horn section, keys and synthesizers, as well as an army of guitar players. The band made their debut this summer at the Norwegian festival “Under The Bridge” in Oslo to very promising reviews. The freshly baked heavy hitting new single “Howlin’ Wolf” is coming out this October, and a completely fresh EP is being said to arrive just in time for this years Christmas presents. Expect heavy hitting yet catchy songs, lyrical awareness and “blue notes” of steel from these guys.”
