Historie

Fjordbotn Camping ligger innerst i Stønnesbotn på nord-siden av Senja. 45 km fra Finnsnes. Fra Lysnes, bare 5 km, kan du ta hurtigbåt til Tromsø.
Ellers ligger vi strategisk plassert, bare en 5 kilometers avstikker fra Nasjonal turistvei, som strekker seg rundt Senja, fra Gryllefjord(ferge fra/til Andenes, til Botnhamn( ferge fra/til Brensholmen. Fra Brensholmen er det kun en 40 minutters kjøretid til Tromsø.

We were there for 2 nights and it was really nice experience of enjoying the compact stay with a premium view of the lake and nature. All the basic amenities were there in the house. you can find lot of other people with their camper vans and separate camping tents. so you can choose to just use their services like washroom, laundry and restaurant or you can book their compact tent houses. Bookings can be done via booking sites. also you can find their own site and book it. The service was really nice and they are quite proactive in all necessary help.
Stayed in my tent, at the field for the tents was really nice. Very clean, large and modern toilets/showers. The place has a nice restaurant and you can even order breakfast. The only "negative" things was all the small mosquitos but can't really hold that against the campaign place.
Veldig god service og god hjelp. Har pusset opp og fortsatt litt utvidelser pågående så det er god kapasitet og god kvalitet på sanitæranlegg. Vi var i telt og teltplassen var stor og lett tilgjengelig.
NOT dogfriendly place, dogs are not allowed in many areas example reception should I leave the dog to hot car? Dogs seems to be a problem but drinking and making loud noise at public areas and tent area is okay... Location was good and the shower was clean.Service: 1/5
Really nice campsite! Helpful and friendly staff! All facilities are new and spacy and the facilities as well as the kitchen are very clean and taken care of. The location ist really beautiful directly at the fjord. A good spot for hikes. Aktiviteter i nærheten: Hikes/ Ånderdalen NP

First of all; very friendly and helpful receptionist! the location is absolutely amazing, takes away your breath every time you look at it. We stayed with a campervan and had a direct view of the fjord. we had electricity and internet at our slot. there is a nice kitchen with two stoves and two sinks. there are two toilets and two showers per gender which was enough in autumn but might be difficult during high season. the toilet and kitchen are cleaned regularly. there is even a small restaurant where you can eat and there is a place where you can dispose of the toilet waste. We extended our stay at this campsite and can totally recommend it!
Amazing camping with a very beautiful location, clean and large toilets and a fully furnished kitchen. We stayed two nights with a tent and it's in a strategic location to visit Senja. The highlight of our stay was the mesmerizing midnight sun over the lake
Very clean cannot stress this enough, even the public showers were SO clean and fresh compared to most!!!, very convenient. We visited late September 2023 and it was amazing.Service: 4/5
