Historie

Flughafen Oslo-Fornebu war bis zur Schließung am 8. Oktober 1998 der Hauptflughafen für Oslo bzw. Norwegen.

Airport is fine. Time required for security and border control is more. Shopping options are less. Passport control is after security. Small spirit section. Another small spirit section is after passport control. The spirit section after arrival is big. Drinking water hidden near Gate F32 airport, unless you want to buy.
Excellent airport with all the essential facilities for a comfortable transit. Also, the passport control staff in both arrivals and departures are probably the most friendly I’ve come across. With just 20 minutes to the centre, it is honestly worth the extra compared to going through Oslo Torp. Also, it feels slightly chaotic which is to be expected, you should be fine as long as you follow the directions.
Oslo Airport is a very beautiful Airport. The interior design is very refreshing and quite different to other international Airports. I liked the lighting arrangement specially. Great experience to walk around the duty free shops. Also it was much less crowded than Charles De Gaul Airport or Mumbai Airport.
Oslo airport is very beautiful, clean and no waiting for security check. There are a lot of several shops, restaurants and everything is good organized. Perfect train connection, the station is at the airport and the ride takes only about 30 minutes to get city center.
It’s a rather small airport, very convenient. It’d be a 5-star rating if it wasn’t for a couple of annoying details. First, there are almost no employees to do the check-in at least at Norwegian counters, so passengers have to do it all on their own. I know that this is the trend, but it makes everything worse for flyers, even more if they’re seniors. Second, they make you remove even your camera gear from your bag, not just the electronics. Yes, this is the post 9-11 world we live in, but I think putting my cellphone, my tablet and my laptop on a tray is more than enough. Everything else is just fine: it’s well maintained and clean.
Truly modern vibes for this airport, relaxed even, love the trees, but love the art even more. Even the Porsche is nice, but not that many shopping options. Maybe a minimalist airport?
I love this airport - very easy to get around. Lots of assistance everywhere for questions. Clean. Shopping. Bars and restaurants. As a solo traveler or family you would feel very comfortable getting around. Airport hotels are great but similar names so make sure you’re walking to the same one. Taking the airport train to central Oslo station? Take the city train instead to save money if you’re comfy. The AirPort Express assists you if there is a delay and you miss your flight.
A phenomenal airport. Small enough to not feel overwhelming and crowded, yet it has all the shops and facilities you could need. The area before security looks a bit dull and empty, but don't let that fool you. Once you get past there you will find lots of shops and other facilities. The airport is clean and easy to navigate. The on-time performance is good as well. You can easily travel between the airport and Oslo using Flytoget, however I personally recommend just taking a regular train as it is only roughly half the cost and does not take much longer.
Also known as Oslo Gardermoen Airport, is the main international airport serving Oslo, Norway. It is located 47 km northeast of Oslo, in Gardermoen. The airport has two parallel runways and 71 aircraft stands. It serves as a hub for Scandinavian Airlines and a base for Norwegian Air Shuttle and Widerøe. The airport is well-connected to the city center by the Gardermoen Line, with the Flytoget airport express train taking about 19 minutes. Public transport usage to and from the airport is among the highest in the world, at nearly 70%. The main transportation options from Oslo Airport to Oslo city center are: Flytoget Airport Express Train: This is the fastest option, taking only 19 minutes to reach Oslo Central Station. Trains depart every 10 minutes for most of the day[3]. Vy Regional Trains: These are cheaper than the Airport Express and take about 25 minutes to reach Oslo Central Station[4]. Flybussen Express Bus: This service operates several routes between the airport and city center, running around the clock[2]. Taxis: Available but more expensive. Oslo Taxi charges NOK 610 for trips to downtown Oslo before 5 PM and NOK 720 after[4]. NOR-WAY Airport Coach: Another bus option connecting the airport to the city center[5]. Public transport usage for airport transfers in Oslo is among the highest globally, with nearly 70% of passengers using these services. The train options Flytoget and Vy are generally considered the most convenient due to their speed and frequency
One of the best airports in Europe. Visible gate signs and enough number of shops to buy souvenirs, preflight snacks, and cloths and more. Good service and easy to understand.
