Ordering take away from this location was straightforward and quick. All the other patrons eating dinner seemed to be highly satisfied with the presentation and flavors. Our vegetarian combo platter had excellent seasonings and it was quickly devoured. Packaging was convenient and price was fair. Alternativer for vegetarianere: Good variety with a few combo platters for this group.
I’ve never had Ethiopian food before but I’ve fell in love with it. Amazing taste with many spices. Beautiful place. Would recommend it to everyone.Mat: 5/5
Absolutely delicious food! My favorite restaurant in Stavanger. Unique experience. Fantastic beef with rosemary and tomato sauce, different small vegetarian options potatoes with spinach, lentils, etc. It’s frustrating that you can’t book a table here, it can be often fully packed. Service is not the best though. The waiter was not even smiling, looked irritated and we felt he is not enjoying his job at all. Our table was a bit broken and moving a lot. But looking forward to come back after their renovation work done. Hope they fixed the furniture. Highly recommend to try this restaurant!
Veldig god mat og koselig opplevelse. Nesten alt på menyen kunne lages glutenfritt, som er en fantastisk mulighet om man har cøliakiMat: 5/5
This is our first time trying Ethiopian food and it was very delicious. We were greeted by two very friendly staff. They have English menus and you can order combo menu to share. We are 4 persons and only ordered 3 main courses. The portions are really large. The meat was very tender and full of flavors. The vegetables are also very tasty.
Great exotic experience. Food served on a huge dish for the whole group to be to be eaten with the hand. Very cozy atmosphere and friendly staff. Surprisingly affordable for Norwegian prices.
I wish I could comment on the food, but when I went in to ask for a table I was told there wasn't any available in such a rude way i was pretty taken aback. I realised after a lot of restaurants in Stavanger are closed on a Monday so that's my fault for not booking, but I did ask if there were any tables later to which I got a reply, maybe, I don't know. Sure if you're fully booked that's fine, but I would have come back later when it was quieter if the man working there hadn't made me feel totally unwelcome.
Wow! You really get the feeling of great authenticity when entering the restaurant. Just how beautiful the decoration was, and how helpful the staff was. The food mixed with the spices really gave life to the meal. The meat they use also tasted fresh. If you want a great restaurant experience with food that is not boring, you have to dine here for sure.
This is a tale of a self-inflicted black eye. Initial impressions were positive; a large contingent of Ethiopian guests created a positive atmoshere, and the food a vegetarian combo was delicious. Now for the minuses: The waiter chewed gum with an open mouth Staff used the same WC facilities as the guests Two young girls that had just finished their meal were encouraged to leave due to newly arrived guests The lack of sensibility was a negative and avoidable element in an otherwise positive experience.
I think I can die happy. So delicious.Anbefalte retterVegan Dish
