Historie

galleri s.e was established in 1995 and is the largest gallery for international contemporary art in Bergen. The gallery is amongst the most renowned privately owned galleries in Norway. The gallery offers 400 square meters exhibition space as well as room for administrative functions and a professional art storage. This enables us to keep a large collection of consigned works available alongside our running exhibitions.

With more than 17 years of experience galleri s.e’s owners Sjur and Elin Nedreaas have established an important role in the Norwegian art scene. They travel widely to stay in touch with the latest in the art world and to establish connections and reciprocal relations with art professionals worldwide.

From time to time we arrange art talks and other events as well as other services for our clients. Our goal is to provide excellent service and to offer clients and visitors an inspiring introduction to contemporary art.
