We got super lucky with a table because this place is booked solid every night. So plan ahead and make reservations in advance. It was NOT disappoint. The reindeer steak was one of the best things we’ve eaten in Norway and their cod and stockfish were delicious. We tried fried Cod tongue and stockfish dumplings as appetizers and they were both amazing. For dessert we tried the pavlova, the brown cheese ice cream, and the chia seeds and all three would loved and would have again. 100% coming back here.
If you are in Reine you just have to visit this place and try local food. Reindeer steak and Whale straw are must have. Also fish soup is just amazing and really creamy.Mat: 5/5

Authentic as it comes. Fabulously decorated and preserved Norwegian building with a savory menu. We enjoyed the ever so tasty fish stew. Delightful. The baccalao dish was also beautifully presented and prepared. Service was friendly and the food came quickly. Loved this place. Highly recommend.

I ordered the halibut and my sister ordered the reindeer, we both enjoyed our meal a great deal. The waitress was informative in her information. As someone who only likes certain seafood dishes I was a bit worried about having a dish that was too "fishy" but it was not the case and I really enjoyed my meal. We both found the portions very filling and enjoyed the brown cheese ice cream dessert.
