DEATH SS (ITA) (HEADLINER)
Legendary Death SS is coming to Hostile Terrortory 2014 to play their first Scandinavian gig ever! Death SS was formed in 1977 by Steve Sylvester, who was a member of the Ordo Templi Orientis. The band combined elements of horror, occultism and heavy metal to become a pioneer in horror metal and black metal; the musical style is called “horror music” by the band. The original line-up also featured Paul Chain, who would later embrace an experimental form of doom metal with his solo project, Paul Chain Violet Theatre. Death SS split in 1984 but reformed in 1988 (with Sylvester being the only original member). This new incarnation of the band recorded their first full-length album, ...In Death of Steve Sylvester. There would be many line-up changes in the years to come, with Sylvester once again being the only constant (except a short time in the early 1980s when Paul Chain would front the band on the Evil Metal EP).

TAAKE (NOR)
Taake is a Norwegian black metal band from Bergen, founded by Hoest under the name Thule in 1993. Taake is Hoests project, but a number of other musicians have been used in the studio and live. Hoest is primarily a vocalist in all official releases. All Taake’s lyrics are sung with the Bergen dialect, and follows with albums, written in runes.

1349 (NOR)
1349 rose from the ashes of Alvheim in 1997, counting Ravn (vocals & drums), Tjalve (guitars), Seidemann (bass) and Balfori (guitars). Balfori quit shortly after due to musical divergence. In early '99 the band found Archaon whose speed and technique took their music to a new level of intensity and brutality.

KOLDBRANN (NOR)
Drammen, a shunned old industrial town, situated along the dirty riverbanks of Drammenselva. Most Norwegians merely look upon this place as a grey and foul road junction, on the way to Oslo. It was here that vocalist Mannevond founded KOLDBRANN during 2001. For the dark Norwegian scene it was a time of consolidation with the first edition of the Inferno Festival in Oslo marking the beginning of a new age, where Black Metal took the final step out of the murky obscurity of the underground into a mainstream event.

KING OF ASGARD (SE)
KING OF ASGARD took form in 2008 by founder Karl Beckman. Teaming up with long time fellow worker, Karsten Larsson, once together in the well-known viking horde Mithotyn. Now re-entering their roots, the foundation of King of Asgard was a fact. Both musically as well as in the Norse heritage used as lyrical approach.

BÖMBERS - THE ULTIMATE MOTÖRHEAD TRIBUTE (NOR)
Bombers was formed in the summer of 1996 by Abbath (Immortal), Pez (Punishment Park /Jef) and Tore (Old Funeral / The Batallion). Together they became Killminister (bass/vocals) , Party Animal Taylor (drums) and Fast Tore (guitar). The ultimate Motorhead tribute band was a fact. The 3 childhood friends shared a common passion for rock n roll and Motorhead in particular.

BORKNAGAR (NOR) (HEADLINER)
In 1994, the death-metal guitarist Øystein G. Brun started to work on a musical vision, a vision of musical boldness. Having always been fond of melodious atmospherics, he recruited like-minded musicians from Enslaved, Gorgoroth, Arcturus, Immortal, and Ulver with the goal of rupturing the peripheries of what was deemed "traditional" black metal. Thus, the brilliant and sophisticated anomaly that is BORKNAGAR was born.

SEPTICFLESH (GRE)
Septichflesh is a fantastic Symphonic Death Metal from Greece. The legend says that a mythical creature named phoenix could reborn from its ashes. It is also said that those who carry the spirit of "burning phoenix" are unstoppable, even by the flames of an "infernal sun", as they possess the "ophidian will" to carry on, beyond all obstacles. But enough with cryptic talks and hints... Let it be known that legendary SEPTICFLESH have returned! Greek daemons Seth, Chris Antoniou, Sotiris V. and Fotis Benardo are back as they decided that besides their experimentation with different projects and musical paths, the path of the Flesh was not completely explored. And they have more nightmares to share...

WRETCHED SOUL (UK)
Wretched Soul is a modern sounding Death/Thrash Metal outfit formed in late 2008 in the historic city of Canterbury, Kent. Following periods of relentless gigging around the UK, the band has honed an exciting and unique sound all its own, with their potent melding of Death, Thrash and Traditional Heavy Metal offering brutality and melody in equal measure. Described by Zero Tolerance Magazine as "refreshingly difficult to categories", they were also hailed in the June 2013 issue of Terrorizer Magazine as "one of the UK's most promising underground Thrash bands."

LEADSLEDGE (NOR)
Leadsledge (Lɛdslɛdʒ) is a band from Bergen, Norway created in late 2007 by Haakon Haagensen and Sjalg Otto Unnison. The band began as an outlet for making metal unfit for the members' other projects at the time, and was initially only considered a sideproject - something to have fun with when time allowed it. But as the music came to be, the members felt it was so exciting they wanted to spend more time on the band. As a result, Leadsledge is now the main project of it's founders. In Februrary 2009 the band's line-up was complete, and the focus was directed towards recording music and performing live. The band is made up of musicians with a lot of experience from the local metalscene, gained through years of activity in former/other bands like In Confesso, Hellish Outcast and Clown.

PURIFIED IN BLOOD (NOR) (HEADLINER)
Purified in Blood (PiB) is a Norwegian band from Hommersåk outside Sandnes, which was started in winter 2003 and disbanded in January 2007. The 25th April 2008 announced PiB however, that they are back in full swing. They play heavy metal. Summer 2004 EP Download Leaves of a Poisoned Tree released on the American underground label New Eden Records. Later the same year they won the Zoom competition, along with Rumble in Rhodos and Vishnu. As a result of this, they played at the by:Larm festival in 2005, and toured around the country. PiB also toured several times in USA and Europe. 21 January 2006 the band won the Alarm Award in 2006 for best live band in the competition including Madrugada, Kaizers Orchestra and Turbonegro.

SAINTS IN SIN (NOR)
Saints In Sin is a Melodic Death Metal band from Stavanger, Norway. The band was founded in 2010 by both guitarist Kristian Risheim Kristiansen, Marius Steffensen and vocalist Marius Boncu. The following year Arild Nådland joined in on drums. In November 2012 Kjetil Aasen became the bass player. Their inspiration from different metal genres forms music impaled with death metal and melodic choruses.

DJEVELKULT (NOR)
Djevelkult was founded in the summer of 2009 by Dødsherre Xarim and the lineup to this day consists of Dødsherre Xarim on guitar/vocals, Ond on drums, Skabb on bass and Beleth on guitar. The demo ''Skapt av Helvetesild'' was recorded i August 2011 and released in the autumn of 2011. The band first full length album ‘‘I Djevelens Tegn’’ is coming sometime in the beginning of 2014.

NiteRain is an extrovert live band that really thrives on stage! Music, lifestyle and image go hand in hand. Rock n Roll, Heavy Metal, Hard Rock, Sleaze Glam is all terms for the genre, but they call it High Velocity Rock n Roll. The music is melodic with backing vocals and big choruses. The band has already toured three times with L.A. Guns in Europe and Scandinavia, and was invited to a fourth trip this fall.
