Fantastisk plass og fantastisk vertskap. Frokost ble ringt inn kl 0900 med bjelle som hang fra ett av Stabburene som er gjort om til overnatting med bad og tekjøkken. Og frokost var fra ypperste klasse. Fantastisk å se ett vertskap som brenner for sine gjester. Og gir tilbake med vennlighet og store smil. Denne plassen er et must å oppleve. Både for å kjenne på ett snev av gamledager og for å kjenne på hva god service er.
Dette stedet må oppleves! Består av gamle stabbur som er modernisert på innsiden, med bad og tekjøkken. Veldig koselig! Høy standard. Betjeningen er kjempehyggelig og prisene er lave. Frokosten er en sosial affære og nytes ute i hagen. Kan anbefales, spesielt for syklister!
Experience really special authentic culture in my beautiful country! In this hidden gem you will find peace among the barns and farmhouses and can enjoy the silence in the garden. Hesla farm is one of the oldest farms in Gol and has beautiful buildings with an exciting history. The earliest mention of Hesla Farm in written history is from 1528. Here you can stay in several different storehouses, an old Hallingstugu and other farm buildings from different time periods. The barn has been converted into a breakfast room for guests. See my attached photos from some of the buildings and rooms and you will understand that this is a very unique place to stay! We stayed at “Hallingstugu” and really enjoyed this building with fully equipped kitchen and bathroom. The house was furnished with old farm furniture. Before breakfast in the morning Ligia the host who was so friendly, showed us around in the barn, breakfast room, the bar and all the others dining rooms. Everything was so authentic and nice. After that she served us coffee and waffles. We got a nice talk for more than an hour, and that made our day! It is one of the best places we have ever stayed in our country. The price was absolutely fair. If you are looking for something rustic and really special, with a personal touch, this Norwegian Paradise is the place for you! We are sure that we will be back soon! Such a wonderful place to stay. Great for both children and adults. Some of my impressions: - The rooms are well appointed and comfortable. - The breakfast provided is really great. - The owners are lovely and very helpful. - the animals are well treated and add a lot of character to the place. 10/10 would stay again :
Man merker at dette stedet drives av entusiaster og alt er på stell fra ankomst til avreise. God og lun atmosfære. En fantastisk frokost i flotte omgivelser. Ikke vanskelig å gi 5 av 5 her :. Vi kommer tilbake!

Stilig plass hvor grisebingen er gjort om til pub. Plass til rundt 20-30 stk. nyoppstartet sted og kommer nok større drikkeutvalg på sikt
We stayed for 1 night at Hesla Farm and wish we could have stayed longer. The host is very friendly and we were well looked after. The rooms are well restored, comfortable and cosy. The breakfast was also a highlight with everything you could want and more.
Awesome place! So beautiful and surrounded by nature, yet walkable to town to buy groceries and food. All day juices/coffee/soup is available in the open air area where you can sit on the many chairs/hammocks under the shade of the apple trees. The rooms are very comfortable and unique! Its 400 years old, but yet the owner had added very modern touches such as lighting/ smart TV/ heating and all. Prices are good value as well! Included room+wonderful breakfast+ even charging my car for 1000 nkr! Highly recommended to stay!
