Highcharts JS has quickly become one of the industry leaders in standards compatible, JavaScript based charting, and has become the preferred web charting engine by many, perhaps most, developers.
Our bootstrapping company has 15 persons working full-time on developing, marketing and selling Highcharts, Highstock and Highmaps and we have sold more than 43,000 licenses. Our clients include 68 of the 100 greatest companies in the world.
The company is a limited company succeeding the former Highslide Software, founder Torstein Hønsi's sole proprietorship. These companies have been profitable since the start in 2006, and since Highcharts was released in late 2009, growth really escalated. During 2011 we grew from one developer to 5 employees, and by September 2015, we count 15 employees in Highsoft. Our offices are located in Vik i Sogn, Norway, a beautiful small town surrounded by mountains and fjords. Many bright ideas have come to us while walking or skiing in the mountains!
