We found a place to be very nice and comfortable. Staff was very friendly and attentive. They really looked after us. Drinks were tasty. I would’ve wished to know upfront how big the cocktails are for example by stating the content in millilitres. Everything else was fine and we had a great evening.
The cocktails were obviously delicious and top-notch. But the REAL gem of this place is Luca! He brings an incredible energy, a cool story, and a warmth that makes this place standout in our mind. Luca is awesome. My wife loved hearing his stories while tasting the bar’s concoctions. A must visit!!

Great tucked away cocktail bar. Arrived shortly after it opened on a Saturday and easily got a seat at the bar, but it filled up quickly after that. The bartenders were attentive and made helpful suggestions.Mat: 5/5
Is this the best cocktail bar of Oslo? Could be! Definitely a must when you are in the city. The atmosphere, the drinks, the service... Couldn't be any better! Amazing place that you should visit when you like to enjoy awesome drinks in a really cozy atmosphere.Mat: 5/5
What a bar. The atmosphere, the staff, the drinks... Everything is awesome. The building looks like nothing from the outside. Just a big 27 above the door. Inside you are immediately welcomed by the stuff and led to a table or bar. We sat at the bar and had 5 cocktails. Our barkeepers were amazing and the cocktails as well. My new favorite cocktail is the Beta. Only downside are the prizes, but alcohol is expensive everywhere in Norway. We paid around 1000kr for the 5 cocktails. I did not like the Apple cocktail. It just tasted like apple juice with a bit of alcohol in it and too much ice a very big rectangular block.
Employees were the friendliest we’d met during our time in Oslo, they were very busy on this particular holiday but gave us a 5 people seating area for us to enjoy one drink. They were surprised when we finished our drinks quickly and asked us to stay longer. They had a special menu as the best bartender in Europe was hosting. The drinks did not disappoint! Drinks were also half off which was wonderful!
A must do if you enjoy nice cocktails and find yourself in Oslo. There upstairs is a more casual bar with premixed cocktails, beers, cider on tap with plenty of seating. There is also a “speakeasy” in the basement. When I arrived I put my name on the list for the speakeasy no reservation, showed up on a Saturday evening at 8pm and had to wait about 30 min. They find you upstairs when your table is ready. Cocktails were creative, unique, and Norwegian inspired. Bartenders were super friendly.
Himkok er virkelig en perle blant Oslos barer, og jeg ble begeistret av den unike opplevelsen den tilbyr. Denne fantastiske lille baren skiller seg ut med sitt spennende utvalg av drinks som utforsker nye smaker og kombinasjoner. Det egenproduserte gin- og vodkaproduksjonen gir en ekstra dimensjon til drinkene og viser et engasjement for håndverk og kvalitet. Det er tydelig at Himkok legger stor vekt på å skape en unik drikkemeny som skiller seg fra det vanlige. Atmosfæren er intime og koselige, perfekt for de som søker en mer eksklusiv og personlig baropplevelse. Betjeningen viser en imponerende kunnskap om drinkene de serverer, og de er alltid klare til å veilede gjestene gjennom det spennende utvalget. Himkok er definitivt et sted for de som setter pris på nyskapende drinker og en atmosfære som utfordrer den vanlige barmalen. Jeg vil anbefale Himkok til alle som er ute etter en minneverdig og smakfull aften i Oslo.
Hype is deserved. Karl was a great server. 3 bars, cider bar, upstairs tap cocktail bar and 1st floor craft cocktail bar. Had an hour wait time on a Saturday night very reasonable for craft bar. Delicious drinks and great atmosphere.Mat: 5/5
