STYR UNNA! denne campingen er ikke verdt penga sine. Den får kun en stjerne for utsikten. Men får minus for hyttene og betjening. Hytten var meget møkkete og full av søppel. Mye rot rundt. Sur gammel gubbe som driver dette stede.Beliggenhet: 1/5
Living next to the water makes me think there can be no better place to be around here. The host seems friendly in person phone or online are not much of an option if you are around and searching for a space check him out as he is not filled up mostly. The cabin experience was great. No Wifi.
Great cabins on the waters edge. Cheap and cheerful with small kitchen area and shared toilet/bathroom facilities. Only 700NK for a 4 birth for the night. This place is excellent value for money and the view is outstanding. So good we booked a second night.
Cabin with a view, electric stove and fridge. Shower and toilet were sad and dirty. Really needs renovation and regular cleaning. Host responds quickly yet some strange social behavior. Aktiviteter i nærheten: Plenty of stuff in walking distance and in Geiranger.
We stayed at a Homlong Camping hut for one night. Unfortunately the welcome was not the best and quite unfriendly. The huts themselves are alright on the outside. The inside and furniture however is rather ill-kempt. What put us off the most were the sanitary facilities, which should be urgently renovated, but in the first place cleaned it really smelled bad. The price point compared to other huts is really ok60€ per night, but given the fact that we really didn‘t feel comfortable, we would rather have spend more money for a cleaner and nicer accommodation. Also card payment was not accepted, only cash or via PayPal, which was quite unusual. For the second night we moved up to Vinje Camping, which was much better.
Views are amazing, the cabin is basic and it does a great job with a nice balcony, has a fridge, cooker and free electricity and it's cheap. Bathroom is big with free showers and the key system is good as only cabin renters can have entry, Staff are also helpful and very niceRom: 5/5
This is an excellent place to stay. Mr. Homlong is nice to talk to and he's present at the premises. The cabins and washrooms were clean. I don't know why other reviewers had experienced such issues. The place is around 2km away from Geiranger center.
I have no idea how the cottages at this place are, but camping - not a good experience. I mean the view was great, sure but that's just cause we're in Geiranger. So, you're supposed to leave your car at a parking lot and then walk about 20 meters down a hill and put up your tent, where it wasn't a lot of space at all.. And then the bathroom and kitchen was the worst of all. First of all you have to walk about a hundreds meter up that steep hill just to get there. Once you're there - there's only one bathroom. One toilet. One shower. And all the camping guests are supposed to share this? The kitchen is just next door. And what can we find in there? A washing machine. A sink. And a microwave. Not even a stove. None of this was really hygiene for that matter either. So yeah, really don't recommend it.
Tre fantastiske netter i hytte med dusj og toalett. Utsikten mot Geiranger er ubeskrivelig. Hyttene er litt slitte og har merket tidens tann. Men ser man det i sammenheng med pris og beliggenhet, ja da gir jeg full pott. Et annet pluss er etter å tidligere ha overnattet i senter av Geiranger og hør fossen24/7 var det en befrielse å bo der den bare hørtes som et sus ;- At man i tillegg fikk låne robåt hel gratis drar ikke ned.
Nydelig utsikt, men er jo i geiranger så det har det meste her. Nærme sjøen, og tilgang til gratis robåter. Minusene er slitne hytter, knotete og igjenngrodd plass og veldig gamle og slitne doer og dusjer i en betongkjeller hvor veggplatene løsner av fuktskader og generelt er utrivelig å gå på både do og dusje.
