Food was average. Portion size for the price was too little. Literally pieces. More importantly, we waited for our food 1 hour 15 minutes. I do not recommend the place.Mat: 4/5

The all experience was fantastic. Although is ONE single person taking care of everything, you won't feel like waiting too much. Looking forward to go back to the restaurant and hopefully listening to some stories from the owner.Mat: 5/5
A wonderful place with a great atmosphere and very comfortable chairs. The food is delicious, the service is very friendly and always has a smile on the face and also gives a brief introduction of how to eat the food in the traditional way, if needed. I loved it and I will come back. The things are the vegan options. 5+ would be if there were also vegan desserts, but that is not a must : Alternativer for vegetarianere: There vegan options :
Food was amazing. I’ve had a good amount of Ethiopian food as I’ve worked at an Ethiopian restaurant, and this food is clearly made with love. It was the perfect portion, I got the Kirchat Mix for one person. They also give you a warm rag to wipe your hands before your meal!Mat: 5/5

I had a great meal here, the server, who I suspect is the owner, took my order and explained about the dish, the traditional platter vegetarian and how to eat it. There was a very friendly atmosphere and I would go again if I come back to Bergen, it also felt local being away from the touristy area.Mat: 4/5
I was at my favorite bar in Belgium when I was approached by two men and they asked me where I wanted to go in the world. I said the horn of Africa because that's where my family was from and they put a bag on my head and knocked me out. I then awoke in Norway very confused and cold and then men were nowhere to be seen. But they had apparently bought me food before leaving which was pretty good. Overall decent experience but I could've done with more Klimaxing.
Jeg ville nok aldri kommet på å prøve denne restauranten på egen hånd så når vi ble invitert med var det veldig hyggelig å kunne teste ut noe nytt. Vi var fem stykker som spiste en blanding av kjøtt og vegetar og alle var super fornøyde. Kommer gjerne igjen. Anbefaler rødvin merlot til denne type mat. Kudos til bestyrer som virket å drive både kjøkken og servering helt alene. Imponerende!
Fantastic food, experience, and service! This is my first time eating Eritrean cuisine and as good an introduction as any. The owner is extremely welcoming and hospitable, with a keen eye to making sure that you're getting what you pay for--and you absolutely do when you're here. For what you get, the prices are an absolute steal. The atmosphere and music are just the cherry on top! If you come here, make sure to try the coffee. Guarantee you'll be in for a special treat you haven't seen before!
