Oil and Gas

Your partner in offshore logistics

Saga Fjordbase manages one of the largest supply bases in Norway. We deliver a base service such as packing, dispatching, and transportation to quays, loading and off loading. We supply fuel, lubricants, waste disposal and are shipping and forwarding agents. Our integrated logistics service also comprises of contractual agreements and procurement. We have our own engineering department that supplies technical support, sub sea co-ordination and coding.

Technical support repairs equipment sent onshore as well as modification and technical follow-up.

We evaluate equipment sent onshore, carry out proposals for repair of equipment and follow-up reparation in respect to quality, price and delivery precision.

Our sub sea services are situated in a well-equipped test and maintenance workshop, that consists of a test pool, traverse cranes with a 85 tonne lifting capacity and large doors for transporting equipment in and out.

Our engineers also carry out coding of equipment and spare parts using our customers’ computer system. This ensures a clear description and gives us excellent control of materials and the ability to deliver the correct materials to the purchaser at the right time.

Saga Fjordbase has experienced and motivated employees who deliver around the clock logistic services. This enables us to satisfy our customers through safe, secure and more efficient logistics.

Technical services

Multi-discipline maintenance offshore and on shore
New building, maintenance and modifications

INC delivers a multi-discipline maintenance service both to our on shore and off shore customers. We have specialized service suppliers within: Engineering, pipe-fitting, steel work, surface treatment, electrical installation, automation, maintenance and repair. In addition, we have considerable experience within the field of design and manufacturing of products in composite materials.

The WEST INDUSTRI SERVICE group undertakes a variety of projects such as prefabrication, building complete pipe systems; steel constructions and mechanical units for land-based industries, ships and the offshore industries.

WEST INDUSTRI SERVICE works together with INC Engineering AS which enables us to supply a complete package to our customers which includes concept studies, engineering, material specifications, documentation, purchasing, prefabrication, installation, completion tests and commencement.

NBN ELEKTRO AS is one of the largest locally owned installation companies in Sogn og Fjordane. NBN has a multitude of experience within industry, shipping, offshore and construction installation. This company has computer equipment for drawing, calculation and planning electrical installation in industrial plants, office buildings, ships and houses.

INC ENGINEERING AS carries out its work at its own premises, with the customer or at the construction site. If one of our customers requires a contract with a multitude of tasks, then INC Engineering will be your contractual partner and will arrange and co-ordinate the contract on behalf of the INC group.

NORSK CONTRACTING PARTNER AS carries out all technical anti corrosion work to a very satisfactory level, which is a requirement from our customers and in accordance with NORSOK M-501. Within the areas of

In addition NORSK CONTRACTING PARTNER AS carries out
Repair of buoyancy elements
Annual maintenance and survey reports of equipment in our long-term storage at the base for Statoil, as well as any other equipment which is sent via Fjordbase.

The company has experienced employees and a mobile equipment unit.

NORWEGIAN MARINE AS specialises within composites and has a modern site at its disposal with an in-door slipway and construction hall.

This company produces refrigerated containers and does repair and maintenance of vessels in reinforced polyester.

We have highly qualified employees within plastic and mechanical installations. We co-operate closely with other companies, which specialise in pipe-fitting, electrics and other disciplines. NORWEGIAN MARINE AS is located in Eikefjord in Flora district.

MAINTENANCE

Preventive industrial maintenance

INC is determined to be the preferred partner for large industrial companies that choose to outsource its maintenance responsibilities. So far, we have Icelandic Alloys as partners and we undertake all preventive maintenance on their behalf.

As a maintenance partner for Icelandic Alloys, we have specialised workshops for machinery, sheet welding/ welding, electro and vehicles.

INC Vedlikehold has a vehicle workshop in Florø. Here we undertake service and maintenance of heavy goods vehicles.

Real Estate

Property management and development

Early in the 1980’s 5 oil companies, the county council, Flora council and two local banks, established Botnaneset Industriselskap, or BIS as we call it. This was established at Fjordbase and it was extremely important to prepare for the development of the industrial area in connection with the oil activities.

In 1999 Fjord Base bought the oil company’s shares in BIS and the company is now part of the INC Group. We play an active role in future management of new areas for industrial use.

Fjord Base AS is the real estate manager og the INC Group. Fjordbase is an industrial park, a supply base and all together the site is 420 000m² (square metres). It contains all ready constructed buildings of approximately 30 000 m² and 350 meters of deep water quays . Approximately 50 companies are established on our industrial park.

We offer offices, business sites, indoors and outdoors storage for any company’s needs and requirements.




A dynamic industrial estate

Cod Farming

INC is among the pioneers in developing large scale cod farming.
Our cod juvenile hatchery in Florø is Norway’s largest producer of cod juveniles.
The cod juveniles are supplied by our subsidiary Havlandet Marin Yngel and engineering and technical services/support from our sister company INC engineering. Research and laboratory activities from an other subsidiary – Havlandet Forskningslaboratorium. In other words: we are a well-integrated cluster.
