Export of dried salted fish:

Bjørge & Co AS is Jacob Bjørge AS’s sales company and handles all export. We sell dried salted fish of top-quality, produced from line-caught fish. You can expect good service and flexibility from us.

Production of wetsalted and dried salted fish:

Jacob Bjørge AS was established in Ellingsøy in 1937. All our dried salted fish is produced from line-caught fish, which ensures the best result. We currently have around 20 employees and produce approx. 3,000 tonnes of dried salted fish per year.

All our dried salted fish is caught by high quality Norwegian fishing vessels. As a company we value tradition, where time and handcrafting is essential. Jacob Bjørge is a family owned business and today it is run by third and fourth generation. Jacob Bjørge is situated on the island called Ellingsøy outside of Ålesund, on the west coast of Norway. We have 20 dedicated employees who shares a passion for the handcraft of dried salted fish."
