Absolutely stunning location. Charming staff, cozy communal breakfast and dinner services. While the room had a beautiful view, it was extremely tiny and the bathroom was a bit uncomfortable. While not perfect, still very worth checking out overall.Rom: 4/5
Absolutely incredible and uniquely beautiful place with great service. For us though if we are paying $700 a night to stay somewhere we would like a few more amenities in the room like being able to have a cup of non-instant coffee without having to go to the lodge.Rom: 4/5
Stayed at the hotel in September! Views were breathtaking from the room. Loved the concept of bringing all hotel guests at dinner for a lovely fine dining experience where you get to enjoy the amazing food and socialize. Definitely will visit again!

I stayed here over 6 years ago and have traveled extensively. One of my favorite things to do when traveling is to find unique stays in nature that highlights local food. To this day, Juvet still remains my top stay ever. It’s very difficult to describe, because it’s not just one thing that makes Juvet stand out; it’s the entire experience and atmosphere that makes it top notch. Is the what the Scandinavians mean by the word Hygge? An indescribable comfort and content? Juvet balances luxury and utility, nature and man-made, social connection and seclusion so perfectly. The intention put behind everything is unparalleled. One of the best parts: the food is so good, I still dream of the blueberry sorbet made using the wild blueberries picked on property. I will be back again and this will remain a place I forever cherish. And 6 years on from our original stay, while we plan to return to Norway to explore a different area, I was again reminded of what a beautiful and special place Juvet it and felt compelled to leave a review. Keep up the amazing work!
Wow, what an incredible stay. This place is perfect, the ultimate nature experience. The staff is so friendly, thanks Lars, Chris, Agnieszka & Karolina for the perfect hospitality, since the moment we left the hotel we are planning our comeback.Rom: 5/5
Unique and unforgettable experience. We stayed 2 nights, the hosts and chef are the most welcoming and kind people. The room was clean, comfortable, spacious and cozy. The bathroom’s heated floors are so important! And the views… you just can’t get enough of. Also loved the breakfast and dinner setup. Would love to come back again Rom: 5/5
Incredible location and clearly built with nature in mind. A very special place that has the potential to be absolutely top notch. A couple things that need to be noted: the steam bath and jacuzzi were too cold especially given the climate and there were no fresh towels in the room nor bath house. The sauna wasn’t constructed yet so it served only as a room to enjoy the view. I initially had some concerns about the idea of the communal dinner with a long shared table and allocated seating that gets switched up every evening but it turned out to be unexpectedly nice and one of the best things about our stay. The food served was of very good quality, with seasonal products and accompanied by a good selection of wines. Overall a very special stay!
It is a very special hotel in a unique location. The service and rooms are exceptional. Once in a lifetime that should not be experienced only once! We will definitely be back! Many thanks to Karolina, Steffi and Christopher and Erik and everyone else who we haven’t met or whose names we don’t know for taking such good care of us in the cold winter wonderland always making sure the fire was on and preparing delicious authentic food with such passion and warmth.
It’s doesn’t get more authentic than this! Fine dining, nature in focus, incredible service and it’s located among some of the most breathtaking Norwegian nature. I’ve already stayed 3-4 times at this incredible place, and hopefully will revisit sometimes soon.
