Historie

K. Jansen AS is an independent shipping agency and freight forwarder. We were established in 1917 and are operating from our premises at Fugleskjaerskaia in Florø, Norway.

Our specialty is to be a proactive problem solver. We offer a wide range of services to the shipping and offshore industry, as well as freight forwarding, terminal operation and storage.

We have a staff of 14 dedicated and experienced employees, including 5 ship agents, which makes us the largest ship agency in Florø.

K. Jansen is at your service 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. We are the only point of contact you need, providing services and equipment for your operations.

Among our clients are offshore vessels, bulk carriers, tankers, container ships, and cruise vessels.

We also cover surrounding areas like Seljestokken, Dyrstad, Svelgen, Førde and Hyen, among others.

Ship Agency
We operate on all terminals in Floro, including Fjordbase. We also operate regularly in surrounding areas like Seljestokken, Forde, Hyen, and others.

Crew change
Floro is a gateway and its location makes it ideal for offshore vessels and other vessels that need to make a crew change. The airport is only a few minutes’ drive away from the port.

Transportation
We transport goods with our own trucks to recipients in Floro and region, as well as to nearby areas.

Warehousing
The company disposes approx. 3000 m2 warehouse facilities in the terminal building which is located at Fugleskjaerskaia pier in the center of Floro and in nearby areas. We also have a significant outdoor area under half roof, and 400 m2 of warehousing in other buildings on the terminal, and external storage.

Forwarding
As independent freight forwarder K. Jansen arranges national and international transport by road, sea and air, with complete documentation.

Bonded warehouse
We have one bonded warehouse and perform customs clearances for a number of local firms.
