Interdisciplinary, Site-Specific, Land Art Biennale at Kjerringøy, Norway, for international, professional artists of any kind, working in and with nature
Kjerringøy Land Art Biennale
K-LAB is an international, interdisciplinary and site-specific platform for working with and showing land art based art works, established by Ane Øverås in 2007.
Situated in Nevelsfjord at Kjerringøy in Bodø, Northern Norway, and North of the polar circle, 67°49’ N and 14º 89’ E.
At K-LAB artists are invited to create art with and in nature for a an extended week, ending with an opening with a guided tour of the works. We invite artists working in various media such as sculpture, painting, dance, performance, sound, text, photography, video etc. By bringing artists from different disciplines together in a creative community focusing on nature, we discuss the concept of land art and eco-art and create a meeting place for artists and the public.
