We had come here to order breakfast of coffees and various grilled croissants and it was very good. So we decided to come back for lunch the same day. Again, it was a good experience. The omelettes were tasty and fluffy, while the stroganoff was nice, if a tad creamy. The sliced potatoes were wonderful. The fish soups were good, but the chicken soup was overly salty. The white and dry breads were superb though. The Napoleon cake was crispy and delish. The various coffees were also good.
Amazing service! During both of our visits the staff were very friendly, helpful and welcoming. Limited vegan options - oatmeal with oat milk and avocado baguette no sauce - but vegan options are scarce in Norway as is. The oatmeal was creamy and perfectly made both times, I enjoyed it even as a non-oatmeal person. The atmosphere is cozy and inviting.
We were recommended this cafe by a worker at our hotel, and it was a good recommendation. The menu was rich with lots of choice and our group of four all got a healthy breakfast. The service was a bit slow, but we were not in a hurry.Mat: 5/5
Despite the waiting times, as a large group walked before us, everything was perfect! Delicious food and honestly kind service from a Lithuanian lady. Tip to try: croissant with salmon and cheese! Absolutely a must!
Nice cafe/restaurant located near the city center. They have a breakfast menu but also a normal one where you can and should pick the fish soup and the waffles with the brown cheese. The flat white is good although we had better ones in other cafes in Tromso. The staff was efficient but, be aware, that due to the high volume of people some dishes can take up to 40 minutes to be delivered. They warn you about that before ordering and ours too much less than 40 minutes.
The best norwegian fish soup without a doubt!!! Everything was delicious Super spacious restaurant Extensive menu LONG WAIT +50 minutes waiting for our order to arrive Drinks weren’t the best not savory Truly the best fish soup The norwegian waffles are also a must I recommend the milk ice cream I have to go back to try more of their ice creams and desserts
I spotted fresh baked bread through the glass while walking by and we decided to check it out! I'm so thankful we did. This cafe was our go to multiple times while visiting Tromsø. The fish soup is one of the best we had in all of Norway. Every item tried was delicious. Thank you to all the staff.
Fantastic gluten-free pancakes available! I’m not sure if they forgot my order or if they make the GF pancakes from scratch but it took at least 20 minutes for the pancakes to arrive at my table. I saw folks come in after me, get their orders and almost finish their meal before I got my dish. Nonetheless, the cottage cheese pancake with orange peel came out piping hot and flipping delicious. The pancake itself was just lightly sweetened and the flavor of the orange peel was rather refreshing. The portion size was also surprisingly generous. Latte was serviceable and there was plenty of seating available in the front of the cafe as well as in the separate room in the back. The staff were also generally pretty friendly. Overall a great option for a casual brunch in Tromso! Spesielle kostholdsbehov: Gluten free options available
Delicious, fresh food in a warm and cosy setting! The staff were so nice and welcoming too. We were unsure if the cafe might be open when we saw rather extensive construction outside the building, but were immediately relieved when we entered and received their warm hospitality :’ The food looks good and tastes incredible! We also appreciated the personal touches and decor in the cafe that made it a really comfortable place to take a break. Thank you for the lovely dining experience. We hope to return again
Omelette tasted good so did the toasted panini. Cafe latte wasn't great though so that's a pity. The atmosphere was welcoming so overall it's still a reasonably good breakfast experience.Mat: 5/5
