Historie

Kvitfjell Hotel har en fantastisk beliggenhet med panoramautsikt over Gudbrandsdalen og alpinbakkene i Kvitfjell. Både hotellet og alpinhyttene ligger "midt i bakken" på mellomstasjonen - det er bare å ta på skiene og skli ut i bakken. Kvitfjell har utviklet seg til en vel etablert og komplett sportsdestinasjon. Alpinanlegget fremstår i dag som vel Norges beste anlegg og kan skilte med både OL og World Cup arrangement. I tillegg til flotte alpinbakker for en hver smak har Kvitfjell også et fantastisk langrennsløypenett som strekker seg over 600 km.

We have been there in August. The location is nice, on top of a valley, just under the ski lanes. Is a bare mountain hotel, not bad with essentials services. Unfortunally we have had some problems. We was about 40 people in a tour operator travel. The dinner was set as a buffet, but nobody told us to serve ourselves as we were at the restaurant: first course, second, cake, one time only. So happened that somebody, thinking to serve themselves free, got two supper's dishes or three pieces of cake. At the end someone had not the suppper, many more had not the cake, others got hungry and angry. The owner himself has shown deep discourtesy at the moment to give back the keys of the rooms on the contrary others people in the hotel are ok.
Okay, but you expect more for this price. - Room: Good although it would be pleasant if the whole hotel would open the windows for some time, because it smells musty. - Breakfast: Poorly. Nothing warm, no eggs, no bacon, no nothing. They only had some bread, cheese, ham and yoghurt stuff. I wished we didn't had breakfast here, but bought for a much cheaper price the same sandwiches in the supermarket. Furthermore it was only just between 7.30-8.30h. Around 8.00h I even had to ask if she wanted to stop putting things away, meanwhile we clearly weren't finished. Response: "I am just refilling", and she put some stuff back a couple minutes later. I am questioning if she would have done that if I didn't mention it. - Bathroom: Okay, but not what you expect for this price. Caravan style. - Diner buffet: Fine. The chicken was tasty. - Staff: Some are nice. Others are complaining about the guests in front of you. Or if you ask them about something easy and normal: "no, we can't do that", "But the receptionist said it would be possible to..", "No.". - View: Beautiful!
Lå 3 netter på familierom, var slitt men brukte ikke lange tiden på rommet, sengene var gode, frokosten var grei, ikke stort utvalg men litt. Middagen var helt grei, til barnas store glede fikk de ta kule is som de ville til dessert. Ligger veldig nærme skibakken og cafe/varmestue.Fikk lånt ski og skisko, stort utvalg. Syn
Dette er vel det tristeste hotellrommet jeg noen gang har vært på. Inntil 3 senger på svært lite rom med en standard som minner lite om hotell. Lite og stygt bad.Prisen på 1200 kr pr natt er virkelig høy i forhold til standard på rommet Man føler seg utnyttet av eier som bare tenker personlig inntjening.
We stayed here 26-28. January 2018. The staff was friendly enough, but the breakfast was really substandard and the bathroom quite uninviting no heating, old linoleum floor, tiny shower. The breakfast buffet had very old bread you could smell that it was at least some days old and the buns were rock hard. The ham was the cheapest kind from the local grocery store, there was no fruit and the scrambled eggs clearly made from powder. We asked the staff if we could have the room for three more hours on the day of checkout, and they said they'd charge us half a day and night for that i.e. 500 NOK. Also, the manager told us off when getting coffee, and asked if we'd asked in the reception for permission. For getting coffee. At the hotel.
Apartments: Nicely situated near the slopes, but overall standard is lacking. No sheets, towels or soap, poor cleaning, sparsely equipped kitchen. Unaltered interior since build year mid 90s
Great breakfast and ok dinner, but the rooms has a wery lo standard. The staff were not very customer-friendly and spoke only English. The location and the slopes are absolutely super, but there's a shame you can't eat dinner this high on the mountain between 3 and 7 pm.
Leilighetene i trappene fungere greit, med ok kjøkkenutstyr og ok senger. Det er noen gamle og noen nyoppussede leiligheter. Aktiviteter i nærheten: Ski in og ski out
Personalet er slemme, vaskepersonellet klarte og kaste en pose med klær hun trodde var søppel mens jeg hadde 2 søpleposer hun lot stå, mate smakte dritt og jeg kommer ikke til og dra ditt neste sesong
Vi bodde på en av hyttene. Her var det skittent og veldig slitt. Vi fant til og med insekter på kjøkkenet. Servicen var også helt elendig. Vi kommer ikke tilbake hit.
