Randomly selected La Piazza to have dinner and had a wonderful experience!! The hostess was very friendly, the waitress was also friendly, helpful and attentive. The support staff was also very friendly and attentive. Our food came out in a timely manner, tasted fresh and delicious. We saw some guests sitting right by the fountain and asked if we could also sit in that section...the hostess happily sat us right in front!! It was beautiful to be able to sit right in front of the Dancing Fountain Show while having dinner. The waitress asked to keep a credit card on file, which made perfect sense, like you would at a bar, especially since we were sitting across the walk path directly in front of the fountain and not inside the restaurant. After we finished our dinner, the waitress asked if we wanted her to run the bill on the card on file, we said yes. Then we asked about validation for the parking structure. She let us know they do validate but to make sure we did not stay parked for more than the 2 hours or the validation does not apply. She explained that the parking structure changed their rules regarding validation and only honors it if you exit before the 2 hours. We thanked her for the heads up, walked/shopped a little bit more, then left before the 2 hours were up and received the Free Parking with no problems. The whole experience was a positive one for us...thank you for such a wonderful summer dinner!! Parkering: La Piazza validated our parking for FREE 2 Hour Parking. Note: you must not park over the 2 hour or you will get charged the full parking fee.
Stopped on a Saturday afternoon around 12:30pm. The place wasn't crazy busy yet 2 people walked past me and my dining partner, before a host came to greet us 3 - 4 mins later. There were lots of open seats, however we were guided to a back patio section furthest from the water fountain show but closet to the interior doors. The server arrived promptly and was attentive and made suggestions re: the drinks or meals. During our dining experience, 4 different couples were escorted a table for two next to our dining table and all 4 either requested or were immediately moved. Since we weren't loud or disruptive in any way, it led me to believe that we'd been seated in the worse section for a sunny Saturday. Several people came by to inquire how we were doing or enjoying our meal. It took awhile for the bill to come but all in all the servers were great...but the hostess left me not desiring to return. I felt an air As IF we weren't welcome
This place is ideal for special occasions and overall, it has great atmosphere, service and food. We celebrated a very special birthday around the holidays and weren't disappointed. We made reservations ahead of time as they are highly recommended during this time of year and also give yourself or party plenty of time to get there and park as traffic is horrendous in L.A. during busier times. The food was good don't expect "restaurant chain" portions, the bruschettas were delicious. Part of our party was there a little bit early and they were cordially sat at the bar until the rest arrived. Once we were all there, we were seated almost immediately and gracefully by the hostess. Our table was on the balcony, heaters kept us warm and the views are spectacular overlooking the water fountain, gigantic Christmas tree, all the twinkling lights made our experience complete. The only disappointing experience is that the waiter took a little too long to take our order and it didn't help that we were already very hungry. However, the waiter other servers made it up for that with their politeness, courteous and kind service and when they brought our birthday cake and help sang Happy Birthday for our loved one.
Came here since i like their outdoor seatings. But the lady host wasnt very pleasant when we arrived. She was like she didnt feel like working mood. We almost backed out but we were tired and hungry of all the walking we just wanted to relax. Food was great. Our waiter, damon very accomodating and nice.Mat: 4/5
It took a while to be seated, when we did get escorted to a table the service was first class. Ordered the Mexicana pizza and a Ceaser salad. The Mexican pizza was surprisingly delicious. I had to pick off some of the jalapeños, as they were toasty! The ceaser salad was just ok. Lots of cheese, but the dressing was a bit bland. I would avoid that. And the patio is dog friendly. The venue is so beautiful. Probably the most beautiful mall I’ve ever seen. High line place. With both local stores and restaurants, and chains.
loved the food, but the service was awful. we came for my spouse’s birthday and they made us provide a form of payment up front even though we had a reservation. we noticed they didn’t ask for other tables to do the same. you can probably guess why they weren’t asked but we were… it’s 2024 be so forreal right now disappointed that we spent almost $200 at a place that profiled us! management should be ashamed.
Let me say that this place is magical during the Holiday's. We just went around Christmas time and absolutely loved the restaurant location. I decided to order a Caesar Salad, pepperoni pizza and a delicious mojito. The salad was decent, it was a bit plain and the dressing didn't help. The pizza was a bit better, we loved the crust but the pepperoni was a bit plain. As for the mojito, it was delicious! It was definitely a great experience overall. I recommend anyone to come and try this restaurant.
It had a great ambiance and atmosphere, but the service was prolonged, with a manager/owner who was very creepy and lurking around tables. We had a reservation, so you would think we would have consistent service, and the restaurant wasn’t even busy, so they had no reason to be so slow. The food was average, and I have never had lousy gnocchi until today seriously, where’s the flavor?
This was a nice Italian restaurant. I'm not big on Italian so the food was okay to me. I had the Salmon. My wife had the Lasagna and she said it was delicious. My daughter had Fettuccine truffles with chicken and she loved it so much. The atmosphere was breathtaking and the service was stellar. If you like Italian food this is a gem of a place.
food was alright, service was mid what’s the point of a reservation if we have to wait in the normal wait line to even point out that we have a reservation??? our ‘new’ fork was dirty so we asked for a new one, but our waitress forgot so we had to ask someone else. our waitress was rather abrupt? very succinct when taking the order. we had a single piece of penne in our non-penne pasta, guessing they just used the same pan or something?? the front host and staff who refilled our water were actually really nice and helpful though
