Course description

A1/ BEGINNER NORWEGIAN:

This course will provide you with the fundamentals in Norwegian language. at the end of the course,and depending on your own participation, you will have acquired the following:

* To be able to communicate in everyday situations.
* Understand basic spoken norwegian
* Be able to construct basic sentences
* Have a firm grip on the basic structure of the norwegian language.
* Have spent ALOT of time speaking the language. USING it!

We believe that the key ingredient in learning a new language is to dive into it, use it, and be exposed to it. Many language centers today offer a mix between classroom and internett coursing. we believe that this is, to some degree, a waste of money. The best value the money can buy- is HUMAN TO HUMAN INTERACTION! :)

OUR METHODOLOGY:

As we believe in an interactive, face to face learning module, we HIGHLY emphasize both the written and the verbal work in the classroom. The students are asked to speak norwegian form the get go, and are encouraged to do so for the entire course. Written and verbal assignments are given.

The students are tested at each level with an accompanying level test. The students get personal feedback all the time,as the learning is situated in real time, as apposed to webtime.

Intermediate level B 1:

Courses for students with an basic understanding of both written and spoken norwegian language. Call/ email us for an unformal dialgoue. We will help to place you in the right level.

Great Norwegian day course with focus on Norwegian grammar. Anne-Marie is a very patient teacher who helped me to get a better understanding of the Norwegian language and gain confidence in speaking Norwegian. Besides the high quality lessons it was also a great way to meet new people!
I took Norwegian classes from A1-B2 with Anne-Marie at Lenoo over the past 8 months. I highly recommend her as a teacher. She is very understanding of students learning a new language. She is very patient and supports students in a kind and professional way. The course content is thorough and relevant to living and learning in Norway. I enrolled for the A2-B2 course package at Lenoo Stavanger and I was very happy with it. Anne-Marie is a great teacher and the lessons were always fun and interactive. I learned a lot within half a year. Of course you also have to study at home and do your homework to see progress, but I can highly recommend Lenoo if you are looking for a fun way to learn Norwegian. I enrolled in the A1-B2 package and I just completed my A1 few weeks back with Anja. I was doubtful in myself and I wouldn’t participate much in the course at the beginning. But Anja was so patient and took notice of each individual student in the class that in no time I felt confident in answering, asking questions, etc. There's much to do by oneself, a lot of practice and revisions. But with Lenoo by your side, you’ll have a place to come to for a steady foundation.
Stavanger dialekt course really made an impact on my every-day life, I understand people around me more now and can have more proper of a conversation without asking what does something mean or them to repeat something. Siv is a great teacher and she answers all of my questions and gave me more knowledge then I wished for.
Anne-Marie is a great teacher! She sets a good pace and facilitates a comfortable environment to ask questions and have them thoughtfully answered. I am very happy with Lenoo :
You need to know Norwegian prior to attending classes, else you will be lost, more focus is to complete the chapter in book - not on concepts. No study material is provided in classroom classes. Only one plus point if for any reason you can’t attend course regularly you can take retake for course online.
If you want to have a great time learning Norwegian, Lenoo is a great school for that : They are really open to any suggestions or anything you need to learn faster. I did A2 with Anne-Marie, and continued to B1 level, and I can only say good things about her : All in all, a creative and fun experience : All recommendation <3
I participated in a Stavanger dialect course with Lenoo and I have to say it was amazing! The class was interactive with clear instructions, supportive teacher and a fun atmosphere. On a more serious note, I truly think this is a great initiative and there should be a possibility to learn the local dialect in each and every language school, since this is a key aspect of being able to fully integrate into society. Thank you, Lenoo!
