We had an unfortunate experience with this hotel. We booked our room months in advance and received a confirmation email, but never received our virtual check-in instructions with the code to the front door or our room. The hotel was not staffed - no one at the front desk, and we couldn’t find anyone else that worked there - so there was no other way for us to check in. We called, texted, and emailed with our confirmation number and booking information, but we were unable to get a hold of anyone at the hotel and never got a response. We ended up having to scramble last minute to find another place to stay which was stressful to stay the least, especially in an area with so few lodging options.
The hotel is great location to Preikestolen hike. The breakfast was good. Loved having a farm on the backside of the place! Room was a bit cramped and the place is near where the city parks their buses so we got to hear buses beeping at 5a. Not sure this happens every day or just the morning we were there.Rom: 3/5
Minimum Efford Hotel We expected a small cute brewery hotel with a inviting atmosphere but it was anything than that - except expensive we stayed at scandic and radisson hotels before for less and that was wonderful. Starting with the rooms, the toilet paper was empty and the shower was flooding since there was no real separation in the bathroom. But what annoyed us mostly was the way breakfast and general timing was handled. A „bar“ that closes at 10 in the evening and breakfast that starts early and only goes for two hours so you have to get up extra early and is served in brown paper bags readymade to be grabbed from a fridge in exactly one „version“? What if someone can‘t eat gluten or is to be vegetarian? - ah yes, there were dry crackers for that case, how nice. All of this literarily cries out „saving costs on every corner“.
Fint sted. Lokalt bryggeri. Øl, vin og cider. Vært et besøk. Koselig sted.
Rooms are clean, parking is included, so it’s great. Also they have free tea/coffee for the guests which is cool. Breakfast is okay, bread was super row and we didn’t eat it, nothing special about breakfast, maybe if you can change it a bit add boiled egg, remove pear, add another bread. The rest is fine, normal hotel for one day staying.
There was tricky to find the hotel. I travel with google maps, and it say that i should turn in to an "walk/bike only" gate/road. It seems that lots of new buildings roads has been built recently, so the GPS did not find the right way. After some turns back/forth i did find signs were the hotel was. I did not find any "maps" on the homepage "here you can find us" with a simple map. That could be a OFI...There was no one in the reception and you should have got a code sent on SMS, but the traveler agency that booked my room did not add my Phone number so i did not get any entry code. But there was phone numbers on the entry door that i called, and get in touch with someone that could give my code to the room. My room was ok. Bathroom 4 Bed 2 Overall 3 Brekfast was served in takeaway bag. One bread with ham and sallad. 2dl orange juice One fruit apple/pear. And a coockie Score: 3,5
Nice place for short stay or few nights. Recommend to taste their beer Nice and clean rooms. Like for new beds are to soft and very uncomfortable. TV only Norwegian channels. WI-FI fast ;
Unfortunately to say but we didn't have a a good experience at Lilland Brewery Hotel. I can only judge the hotel based on our visit and I think if you do get to stay at the hotel you'll probably have a more positive visit then we did. We got there and did our check-in in the house displayed on the pictures which was nicely situated and the reception and bar area was really nice. At the reception they informed us that we've booked an apartment which we didn't have, we booked a dubble room at the hotel which I showed to them, but they told us that everything is fully booked that they have booked apartment 301 for us and they only have the apartment available. The apartments are located across the parking lot, 250 metres from the main house, beside the trafficked road 13 in a square industrial building above a pizzeria and next to a gas station, really not what's showcased on the pictures. When we get to the room we meet the cleaning staff and they show us the apartment 301 and they seemed to be a little surprised when they see that it's two of us because the apartment that's been given to us only got one single bed 80 cm but a with a pull out sofa. Really not what you expect when you book a dubble room at a hotel. The cleaning staff said that it had to be some kind of misstake and she calls the front desk and ask them what've happened but obviously did the girl at the front desk know this as she already given us the room. But after some discussions with the cleaning lady who argued on our side, they offer us apartment 302 instead that we accepted and that apartment has got three single beds, where two of them had been pushed together to a "double bed". About the room, it was spacious and clean with a good wifi and TV reception but with a disturbing sound from the nearby road. We we're up in the bar and talked to the staff there and they told us that the've should've called us and asked us if it's was okay to move us to an apartment instead of hotel room. That would've been nice because then you'd have a better idea of what to expect. Now the lady at the front desk just seems rude because she tried to give us a room that we definitely not booked with only one single bed. The other staff was really nice and the breakfast was really really good and if you walk around and away from where the hotel is located you can find some really nice surrounding areas with good hiking possibilities. The bus to Preikestolen is a short walk away down to where the ferry to Stavanger is located. But the mess with the apartment and the location of the "hotel" just made our experience really bad so really cannot recommend this hotel to other people based on our experience.
Very energetic beer brewer and amazing food! Concidering visiting again for the food, really good.Rom: 2/5
Our stay here was pleasant. Clean room with really big shower/washroom. Easy check-in. Comfortable bed. Friendly staff. Room is rather small, but good value for the price. Great breakfast buffet with good selection. Liked the fresh stuff like veggies and fruits. Also has a decent restaurant.
