Historie

Storfjord Camping (Lofotencamp) is one of the wonderful place to be with your friends and family, and have a lot of fun. Enjoy the nature and get awesome experience. We also are friendly to your beloved pets – you can take them with you in your wonderful holiday time.

We have several norwegian style cabins for rent. Small cabins up to 4 people and also medium and big cabins for families or friends up to 7 people. Lofotencamp - Storfjord also provides possibility to build tents and have place for bobil or camper parking.
In summer we offer to rent bikes and cars. You can also use for free our rowing boats and canoes – everything to make your holidays exactly as you want. Our staff is always ready to help you, so you can have most exciting holiday experience here in Lofotencamp Storfjord camping . We are opened all year long, as there is much to do in Lofoten island!

We didn't get a room but parked a camper at the facility. There are good hot showers, 2 kitchen areas, water for fill up and a rather nice shared living room area to stay in when the weather isn't so nice. The people who run it are very friendly and give excellent service. Bathrooms are clean and kitchen areas actually have utensils and dishes available to use while you are there. Not to mention they have available for use a sauna and hot tub that can also be rented for an additional small fee. Overall it was a very pleasant experience there and would go back again.
Bounced from place to place in Norway for 9 days and this was the nicest location. Very fairly priced, a little hidden gem just off the highway, has all amenities but with a few details that could use some upgrading. Mattresses in the rooms have caved in in the middle, could use a replacement. Washer and dryer are a bit small, dryer requires attention, showers are a bit dark. Service was great, yes a few things can use some attention but at least it all works, would definitely stay again if we made our way in that direction.
Good camping spot with a nice community room to get out of the rain if you are tent camping. Free canoes and kayaks to use in the beautiful mountain lake. The sauna is totally worth booking - it’s delightful and you can cool off by hopping in the lake. To book the outdoor hot tub you need to do so 24 hours in advance.Rom: 5/5
I loved this camping. The owners were super nice and the cabin was also very comfy and cute. There is an amazing sauna that can be privately booked for 100NOK/hour and also free kayaks and SUP to use in the lake. We extended our stay for one extra night as qe were loving it and were lucky enough to see the lights even though it was still late summer! Would totally recommend, amazing location for hiking as well.
Great sauna and common areas but price for tent is far too expensive for the site you get. Kitchens were filthy with overflowing bins and rotten food in fridges. Could easily be a great campground with some small changes made :Rom: 1/5
A really nice place to stay! Yes, some facilities might need a little care, but everything works as it should. Showered in the evening, water was warm, there’s a huge termotank inside. All the facilities are included when you pay for stay. Canoes for children, sap and kayaks are included as well, vests are mandatory but are available for free. Beautiful lake nearby. Super friendly staff! Booked a night and then decided to stay for one more
Very expensive for tents 700 NOK for two tents especially as the spots are not amazingly confortable. The showers are 20 NOK for 7 min but there are free boats and the view is nice. There are two kitchens and the common room is very big and confyService: 3/5
We loved this campsite. The staff are very friendly and helpful. The communal kitchen is well equipped, warm and a good place to meet fellow campers. Also a lovely common room. We had a great canoe on the lake in the kayaks you can use free. We were in our campervan and had a good space next to the lake. There is only space for 20 vans so it does not get crowded, and has a cosy atmosphere. So, we can highly reccomend the campsite for a short or long stay.

A very nice and quiet camping where you can feel home. It has a very nice shared area, both inside and outside. The position along the lake is really beautiful.
