Lydgalleriet is a unique exhibition platform for sound art and sound related art in Bergen, Norway. With the possibility to expand and experiment within spatial contexts, we work with local, national and international sound artists.
Lydgalleriet has its office and exhibition spaces in Strandgaten 195, 5004 Bergen.
"Lydgalleriet is Norway’s only permanent exhibition platform for sonic art practices, with an ongoing focus on exploring the diversity of what sound based art practices and auditive cultures can be, and the agency these have. Lydgalleriet was initiated by a group of musicians, artists and art historians in 2005 and continues to work with artists displaying experimental and often untraditional sonic interests.Information about Lydgalleriet's exhibitions and events is published and updated on various online platforms."
