Welcome to an enchanted atmosphere, a magical adventure! You will find Magic Ice Located in the heart of downtown Oslo near Grand Hotel and Hotel Bristol.

Inside you will find a fantastic Ice Bar and some of the most popular, renowned & famous artists from Norway made in ice!

Either you want to see and do something really special when visiting Oslo or start off, a Kickoff, Pre drinks before dinner, The weekend, After work drinks, in the best possible way, there is no better ice breaker than MAGIC ICE!

The entire permanent exhibition is constructed of crystal clear ice – even the bar, the glasses, and benches are made of ice!
The exhibition consists of dramatically-lit sculptures and installations with colorful LED lighting and to further enhance the ice experience. This presentation arouses the senses of sight, sound, and touch. By blending in music and the glow of candlelight, a uniquely magical atmosphere is created.

Really cool place pun intended lol....... Come here for the experience and come here with winter clothing since it is an ice bar.  They give you gloves and a poncho, which are very warm and clean, but they work with the clothing you are wearing, so make sure to wear very warm clothes.  The ice sculptures are beautiful, the service is great, and the drinks are tasty, but they main attraction is of course the ice sculptures, so walk around and enjoy them.

It’s an experience of spending kr200 + for drink the quirkiest way indeed. It you were looking for the same I’d recommend the forts package at 199 instead of the 250 one I got as the mojito I got didn’t even taste like it.  My experience could be up a notch if the drinks are better.

I can go for drinks in Oslo, Norway. The bar is kitschy, but it is a cool experience. Everything inside is made of ice, and there are pretty ice sculptures. The entrance fee is 250 krona and includes rental of the jacket and gloves and a yummy welcome drink made of wine and special berries and served in an ice glass. It gets quit cold In there but you can take a lot of breaks and come out. The music and vibe is pretty cool.

I had a great experience, and I got a free first drink with my ticket because of a deal. The staff was kind and the bartender was open to talk. A couple patrons were nice enough to take photos of me. Not much else to do here but drink, take pictures and hang out in the cold, but it's a nice place to see while in Oslo. Now on to the other Ice Bars around the world!

SO overrated it's unreal. It's small and, inevitably, cold. It's a novel idea and you'd think it would be fun, but it's just a novelty and really not somewhere that you would ever go for entertainment; it's just a tourist attraction with limited appeal.

Very nice place with a really kind staff. As soon as you enter you are greeted with smiles and some information about the place. The temperature inside the bar is -7 C° and you are equipped with very warm capes. After entering the bar the staff prepares a welcome cocktail in a glass of ice and you have plenty of time to take pictures and spend a nice time. The price is in line with city prices 195 kroner. Recommended.

It was quiet season so not a lot of people there but I guess it was good because you was able to go and see around. Few sculptures and ok selection with drinks. Traditional welcome drink from cranberries was very good. Entrance cost 185 NOK with 1 drink included or 250 NOK with 2 drinks included.

The staff are friendly and the service is great, also one of the larger ice bars with greater availability of seating. However, the drinks menu is somewhat sparse and there are no true alcohol free cocktails, instead you'll receive a standard cocktail with none of the alcoholic components added. This is understandable but a shame as you're often left with a drink that pales in comparison to genuine alcohol free cocktails offered in other places. Still very much worth a visit though.

Really cold place staff said it was -7 degrees. They  will provide you with a thick jacket & a glove. Ice sculptures are beautiful.  The place is quite small. Entry price includes a welcome drink just wine and berry flavored. It is pretty expensive.  All in all I feel that it is good to experience it I came during Winter when it was -5 degrees and I felt that there is no point coming here during Winter
