Marmelkroken

Info

Overnatting, arrangement, kurs og konferamse. Vår kafe har panorama utsikt.

Historie

If you are in Andøya and want a cozy, clean and wonderful place to stay, this is your place to go. The hosts are wonderful, nice and super attentive. The rooms are big enough, clean, cozy and quite comfortable. The food is made from fresh local ingredients and very good.Rom: 5/5

A nice and cozy place to stay with a lovely familiar vibe. A great place to see birds and maybe seals or moose of you are very lucky. The restaurant only serves local dishes meaning that you can't choose a la carte but those dishes are really delicious and worth itRom: 5/5
Excellent local food. And what a such quiet and peaceful place !!! Perfect spot where staring at the midnight sun
Beautiful small hotel, just a few rooms on the Norwegian sea. Superb service and host/owner went out of her way to help us solve travel problems. Home cooked dinner was one of a kind excellent.Rom: 4/5
If I could leave 6 stars, I would. Lisbeth is an amazing woman with a servant heart. Marmelkroken is a special place in a special place Arctic Norway run with a deep sense of nature, environment and community. This is the place to come when you need to spend time away from screens, to talk with others and be reconnected to what’s important. We were on a bike tour when a major early autumn storm came in. Lisbeth helped us figure out the Norwegian specific ferry schedules, where the nearest landing would be and even went so far as to contact the ship directly and acquired critical information that they would likely not be able to land at our chosen destination. We were able to make the short dash to the ferry and get to Sortland avoiding gale force headwinds and rain. We avoided what could have been a dangerous and difficult ride with her help. It’s just a beautiful place. It’s simple in an elegant way, the dining is elegant, featuring 5 star chef prepared local farm and fishing foods presented beautifully. Highly recommended. We’ll be back.
We were three, stayed there 3 nights in a hut. It's a comfortable, clean house with everything you'd need; with a great view at the ocean. The host is very friendly and welcoming. A special comment for the food served in the restaurant at the place: simply delicious, the best fish soup ever had in Norway.
Very nice hotel with very friendly host. Fantastic view to the Atlantic Ocean to the one side and high mountains on the other side. Delicious local meals. A great place to relax.
