Absolutely beautiful! We walked all around this city and it was so quaint and cute. We went on a Sunday so most everything was not open. The White House’s with brick roof were so neat. Great place to just walk around on your own and just explore. Really enjoyed Stavanger!Besøkte stedetPå en helgedagVentetidIngen ventetidForhåndsbestilling anbefalesNei
A nice place to walk around for a little while. Houses are from the 1820s to 1870s although the neighborhood was settled in the 1700s, it burned down several times. Some are nicely decorated with flowers.Besøkte stedetPå en ukedagVentetidIngen ventetidForhåndsbestilling anbefalesNei
It’s a very short walk from the cruise terminal so it’s definitely worth a 30-60 minute stroll. We opted for an Uber ride to the top of the hills for around 18 euros with tips due to my bad back and I was able to walk back down the small hills to the ship. There weren’t too many stores, but the 200+ old wooden houses were cute and pretty.
Amazing inner old city that teleports you back in time. Cute smaller cities, wooden houses and very well maintained gardens. This is a must see if in Stavanger.Besøkte stedetPå en ukedagVentetidIngen ventetidForhåndsbestilling anbefalesNei

Came here a few weeks ago on the cruise ship Iona. Took a walk around the whole town and this was the last place of interest before embarking the ship again. Happy to walk around on a nice cool day looking at the old buildings.
We came on a cruise, we went to see some of the highlights of the city, what we saw was very beautiful but the weather wasn’t that good. Never mind worth the visit.Besøkte stedetPå en ukedagVentetidIngen ventetidForhåndsbestilling anbefalesIkke sikker
It's a must! Serene old town feeling. Time slows down so you can take inn your own self and just be. Amazingly beautiful at all seasons.Besøkte stedetPå en offentlig fridagVentetidIngen ventetidForhåndsbestilling anbefalesNei
A quiet city that looks nice and even charming but not at the same spectacular level of other Norwegian wonders. Interesting to note the unusual number of crows everywhere in the urban environment, a feature that seems to be common in northern cities but rather unusual for southern europeans.
Stavanger is a wonderful town, beautiful buildings and souvenir shops. Look out for the Christmas shop and the Trolls. Also a lovely market when we went.Besøkte stedetPå en ukedagVentetidIngen ventetidForhåndsbestilling anbefalesNei
