Not many animals, only two small floors. Can easily finish seeing everything within 20 minutes… overpriced for what it is but not terrible. If it costed £10 per ticket I’d give them 4 stars. I was expecting some interactivity or the possibility of holding something but it’s more like a pet shop with no pets on sale.
This was a truly cool and unique experience. As a huge animal lover, I was immediately drawn to it. Although they call themselves a "park," it's actually a building with two floors filled with fascinating reptiles—and even two adorable small monkeys. What made this experience stand out was that we arrived around 4 pm, just in time for the feeding sessions that lasted until 5 pm. During these sessions, a friendly staff member explained the temperament of the animals and their eating habits, even demonstrating live in front of the audience. She allowed people to pet the animals, which was a special touch. I did feel a bit concerned that the animals might be stressed from all the human interaction, but seeing how well she handled them and how much care and love she showed made me feel reassured that they’re well taken care of. I even got to hold a snake, and my boyfriend had one draped around his neck—a very cool experience! I never thought I'd be brave enough to do something like that, but before I knew it, the snake was in my hands. It was a reminder that fear is often just in our minds; once you face it, it's not as bad as you imagined. It's the build-up in your thoughts that’s the real challenge! I would 100% recommend this place. They also have a souvenir shop with handmade items, plush toys, magnets, and even shed snake skin. Just a heads up—there might be a lot of kids around, so expect some pushing as everyone tries to get a good view of the animals during feeding time! Price is not bad. I paid about €20 which is 230 NOK per person. Keep into mind that the trip is max about an hour long. It just depends how long you’d like to stay per animal and how many pictures etc you take! Personally I’ve stayed about 1:30 hr :.
When we arrived we didn't know what to expect as the outside of the building needs attention It was the last place we could visit as our Oslo Card was about to expire , as they opened at 10am What a lovely and pleasant surprise. Could not believe the creatures we saw inside. The blue frogs and yellow and black frogs were definitely a highlight. Cages were well lit with clear descriptions . It's small, neat and clean, friendly staff and really worth a visit
As others have stated, it definitely is expensive for what it is. There are only two floors and you can easily get through it in 20 minutes. It would be find if it was half the price, but it doesn't feel like a good deal. I've bought tickets to an entire zoo for the price of this ticket and it had an equally large or larger reptile exhibit. However, the establishment is quite clean, and you can hold a snake which is really cool if you have children. It loses two stars for the price but gains one because of the being able to hold a snake and because I got to see two tortoises mate.
The price is overestimated. They charged 200 nok for a 2-year-old. The place is cool but doesn't have as many animals as I have hoped for the price.
A fun thing to do on a rainy afternoon. Took about 45 minutes or so looking at the animals and taking pictures. A lot is packed into a somewhat small space!Besøkte stedetPå en ukedagVentetidIngen ventetid
I'd recommend visiting this place if you come to Oslo, especially with children. I learnt a lot about different reptiles and even held a big snake!Besøkte stedetPå en ukedagVentetidIngen ventetidForhåndsbestilling anbefalesNei
Koselig plass.
