I stayed for 2 nights and had a great experience. The breakfast service was great, not the best I've ever had but better than most. I had a great experience with the staff who were friendly and very welcoming. The room was clean and spacious. The television had a decent amount of channels and was a good size when watching from the bed. Being able to change the color of the lights on the bed frame was a cool new experience and certainly a nice touch to make this hotel room stand out. I was very satisfied with the location since I could walk to and from the train station. A good number of restaurants nearby within walking distance and the Opera House, Parliament building, and Akershus Fortress were also close. Rom: Very nice standard rooms that met all of my basic needs Aktiviteter i nærheten: Opera house, Parliament building, Akershus Fortress Sikkerhet: I felt very safe while waking around and inside the hotel Fremkommelighet til fots: Easy to walk to from the train station and close to other public transit options. Mostly flat terrain Mat og drikke: A good breakfast buffet
A disappointment. The staff was less than qualified, I was overcharged during checkout, and the receptionist could not reverse the change. One cannot change thermostat settings in room. I called the reception, they said they changed it. It was even colder in the room afterward. I was denied an upgrade while being a premium member. The room was too basic even for Norway. The location is good
Arrived at 2am to find they’d overbooked and hadn’t got a room for the first night of our reservation. They did send us to another property from the same chain outside the city, but this was frustrating because of the time, the fact they didn’t notify us ahead of time we could have saved over an hour going directly to the replacement hotel, and because we booked via the Radisson app partially to avoid this type of issue which I associate mostly with third party booking sites. The hotel itself is relatively basic but clean and comfortable. Location is very good, breakfast is good too
We stopped at this hotel for 1 night while traveling across Norway. We were very happy with our stay here because everything met our expectations: * Check-in was quick and smooth * Room was clean and tidy * Despite the fact that our windows faced a large street, no motor sounds disturbed our sleep * Buffet had a solid choice of dishes and they were fresh and tasty A very good hotel, which would not break the bank, while offering a good quality service Thank you!
Bodde en natt på dette hotellet denne uken, men ble veldig skuffet over standarden på dette superior rommet som vi bodde på. Selve rommet i tillegg til baderommet trenger oppgradering og baderommet hadde også flere hår på den ene veggen som ikke var blitt vasket rent, se bilde. I selve rommet sto det en flaske med etikett Yours to enjoy Complimentary water, men det var ikke vann på flasken, se bilde. Frokosten var imidlertid veldig god og beliggenheten er upåklagelig. Planlegges det å bo flere netter på dette hotellet så vær obs på at det ikke er kjøleskap på rommet, ihvertfall ikke på det vi hadde. Fremkommelighet til fots: Lett å finne frem til hotellet Mat og drikke: God frokost
Pros: The staff are friendly. Location is very convenient. WiFi is fast and reliable. Cons: There is no fridge and safe in the room. Little space and few shelves for storing clothes. The bathroom door was stuck and had to push hard to open. Difficult to regulate the temperature in the room. The breakfast variety was limited for Norwegian standards.
The hotel has a planned renovation and remodel this winter - so no real sense in leaving an indepth review. We had a pleasant stay our room had wonder views
Mediocre Hotel in need of modernization. Ok hotel in the center of Oslo. Service is good as well as the location. The room however was somewhat outdated and especially the bathroom needed some renovation. For a one night stay on a budget it's fine. though. But don't expect anything modern or fancy. Rom: Ok sized rooms with older carpet and a bathroom on-suite that needs renovation. WiFi was ok.
Such a great hotel centrally located to nearby points of interest with a delicious breakfast spread available to add for a small fee. I opted for the room with a balcony and it was definitely nice to sit out on and enjoy a few snacks and beverages from. The hotel is convenient to a few different public transportation options and also within walking distance to Aker Brygge, the Akershus Fortess and more. The rooms are nice and feature air conditioning which isn’t standard in Europe so it’s always nice to have. The staff was friendly and offered dinner recommendations as well as offered to store luggage while I went on a final tour of the city before heading home. Definitely would stay here again.
Extremely unprofessional behavior from a receptionist. She was rude right from the start and was not willing to accommodate us. She double billed me for two rooms and wasn’t willing to search for my booking confirmation or collaborate. She also entered a room early in the morning trying to kick us out even though the check out day was a day later. Such a disgrace for this hotel to employ someone rude and unfit for this job as that woman. I am very disappointed with my stay in this hotel. I wish I made a reservation somewhere else. Interessante detaljer: The receptionist woman is totally unprofessional and caused so much trouble and headache for guests of the hotel
