PLOINK is a techno label from Norway.

Historie

Until spring of 2014 PLOINK was a techno club based in Bergen, Norway, operating in and outside its hometown.

Acid Scout, Alan Fitzpatrick, Alter Ego, Ambivalent, Audion, Ben Sims, British Murder Boys, Carl Craig, Carl Cox, CJ Bolland, Claude Young, Dave Clarke, Derrick May, DJ Hell, James Ruskin, Jeff Mills, Joey Beltram, Juan Atkins, Luke Slater, Marcel Dettmann, Marco Carola, Mark Archer of Altern8, Mathew Jonson, Mental Overdrive, Mr C, Oliver Ho aka Raudive, Oliver Lieb, Petar Dundov, Plaid, Radio Slave, Richie Hawtin, Surgeon, Speedy J, Robert Leiner, Steve Stoll, Sascha Funke, Scion & Tikiman, Skatebård, Thor, Tim Taylor, Traversable Wormhole and Trentemøller..

..are just some of the many fine djs/live acts that have played the club since 1996.

But then we found it in our nostrils to start a label branch. Which feels good.
Indeed, we are now a record label. Releasing vinyl, the destilled, black blood of the gods, made audible. Truly.
(We also release digital, though with considerably less weight.)
We love vinyl. Don't know it? Try it. It makes you healthy.

Pr february 2016 we've released no less than 10 EPs that we are all very proud of..
Artists we've signed so far include Christian Tilt, Hutmacher, Kahuun, KSMISK, Mental Overdrive, Nordenstam, Thomas Urv, Urhaug, Vakum and + Plattform.

We still do parties but now we call them releaseparties, one party per ..uhm release.
