I booked this cruise through GetYourGuide and it was one of the best experiences of my life. It was a rainy day in Bergen, Norway, but this made the tour even more interesting. The departure was on time, the crew was very friendly, and the guide was charismatic and funny. The cruise lasts about 3.5 to 4 hours. I didn’t know where to look, everything was AMAZING! I loved it and would definitely do it again.
I did the 3+ hour fjord to Mostraumen and it was excellent! It started off great, sailing through Bergen harbour on a clear and sunny day. Nice narration to point out key sights, but not too much chatter, which was good. Then after an hour or so we got to the narrow fjord entrance, and the trip went from 'great' to 'wow'. It was simply stunning, majestic and very moving. The sheer height of the cliffs and being able to get so close to them... Incredible! Highly recommend this trip. The boat is clean, modern and comfortable too.
What a fantastic fjord trip!! I can't recommend this higher, friendly staff, excellent seating, huge windows inside but they also let you outside for more photos!! It was so worth it. Get there and hour early to get on ship first to get a window seat!!
5 stars! Would definitely recommend it! An hour and a half each way. It's cold and very windy, but the views are worth it. You can choose to sit upstairs, which is outside, with the best views or downstairs under warm shelter, and try to get a window seat. I chose to sit upstairs for the first half and then under shelter for the way back. There's a small cafe on the boat where you can buy teas and snacks. I set my GPS to "Zachiarasbryggen" in Bergen, NO and it was at the pier right behind it.
It is really a wonderful ferry Tripp. You need warm clothes after that you could enjoy the tour. The captain and his crew are very friendly and helpful. On the ferry you become something to drink and snakes. The price for that was okay. You see thing that you never see bevor.
We had a great trip from Bergen to Rosendal. The boat was perfectly comfortable and we enjoyed taking in the fjords from the upper deck. Rosendal is beautiful and we had plenty of time for a good walk in the valley before the return to the city.
Advisable to arrive 30 minutes earlier in order to get good seats. You can go in and out, upstairs too if you want. If you go in the winter, especially after it snowed it’s just a different view. Cannot expect much if the boat cannot go through the ice. Enjoy what you can. Might be windy, dress appropriately. Beanie, scarf, jacket is a must.
Fantastic tour! My wife and I went on an evening tour to Mostraumen. While it was raining on some aspects of our tour, we traveled far enough, that the rain didnt impact the entire tour. Highly recommend! You can sit inside or out on the balcony. Restrooms are available as well as small snacks and drinks for purchase.
Enough space to move both inside and outside, on the two decks Bathrooms are clean Snacks and drinks are available inside There is a discount with the Bergen card Beautiful tour with a great weather fortunately Almost froze on the top deck as it was -13°C with wind
Really lovely cruise of a fjord. We saw dolphins on the way into the fjord. Breathtaking, beautiful sites. Wonderful water fall near the end. Crew was very nice. We had a waffle with brown cheese, which was fun. We found seats outside about 30 minutes in. I purchased the tickets online.
