Close to river be aware of moskytos. Superb place, you can order home made bread, at reception they are offering wide varity of dried out food, they cook incredible good diners and breakfast too... highly recomendedRom: 5/5
This lodge is perfect! We ended up here by chance and they had space. The staff are just so helpful and accommodating and the food was amazing! Cannot recommend enough! Don’t miss out. The scenery is second to none and it’s incredibly relaxing! Lots of activities and the best board game selection that I’ve seen. Thank you for having us!

I think overall, I had a satisfactory stay on this hotel. They have a clean room, bed sheets, and towels are freshly washed. Simple design and not that fancy style, but my basic needs were met. Parking is free. I love their breakfast. Good food and very good service. A cosy, warm bed and breakfast kind of place. I can recommend this cottage type hotel.
Very charming place! Green Key certification and therefore great focus on sustainability. Would stay there again. Newly renovated rooms. Good standard but a bit small. Wi-Fi is unstable. Excellent service. Very helpful in recommending hiking tours. Good location. Several nice hikes starting from the Lodge. If you wish to hike up to various mountain tops like Store Ramshøgda, it’s a short car ride 10 min to the parking area. Mat og drikke: Excellent food! Great vegetarian options. Delicious breakfast buffet with sourdough bread from local bakery, jams, local goat cheese etc. Possible to order pancakes, eggs and oatmeal.
An amazing stay! Everything was perfect. The team is very helpful and nice. The surroundings are beautiful and the food is delicious. A special mention to the chef who prepared the best vegan food I have ever had. Can't wait to come back!Rom: 5/5

Absolutely fantastic location and really friendly, welcoming staff. We enjoyed a walk along the river and noticed there were several families enjoying barbecues and the outdoor area. We had a lovely set 3 course meal which was fabulous. Serious prawns, traditional Norwegian meat balls delicious and spectacular Tiramisu to end with. They sold local beers and spirits and a good selection of wine. An amazing place to visit. Thinking of going back in the winter.
We enjoyed one beautiful evening at the Rondane River Lodge. The room was very clean, functional, and well designed -- the bed was very comfortable. All of this we expected. What we did not anticipate was the luxurious food prepared by the two families Belgian, I believe who spoiled us with unique dishes and fun combinations of flavours. The hotel and the restaurant are very environmentally conscious -- very little food waste, lots of strategies, both big and small, to conserve energy and resources without inconveniencing customers. We went on two hikes near the hotel that were both well-marked and extremely beautiful. Highly recommended!
