Historie

My dream is to get a group of people who have been through or are in the midst of cancer treatment.

A group that has one positive goal for eyes.
An active group that does something physical together that is fun and pleasurable.
A place we can support and push each other.

Those who want to share experiences can do that, or just be with others who understand what we have been through without having to talk so much about it.

My dream is getting 2 eights to the Masters World Championships in rowing. A womens team and a mens team.

The second dream is to collect money for active against cancer which does a great job with "breathing rooms" on cancer hospitals. I want everyone who is suffering from cancer to have the possibility to stay active.

This project is for starters in Bergen.
But there is a dream to get more groups in Norway and in the rest of the world.

How cool would it not have been meeting people at the Masters Cup from around the world who have had cancer and are rowing.

There has been an international interest in this. Especially after my participation in the Masters World Championships in 2015 in Belgium.

A little bit about myself:

I got a serious cancer diagnosis in 2008. Had a forecast of 20% for survival.
I found out that motivation means a lot when you fight this battle.
Having a goal and not give up when everything looks dark. Fight on. It requires that you hold up your hope.
For me it was my wonderful children, studies and last but not least rowing. Which for me is a life style, a passion that strikes deep root in my heart.

Activity meant a lot to me to be healthy again and the doctors are convinced that it makes me in such good shape now and got me so well out of the disease.
It's good for your body but also your head.

My goals have changed somewhat since I started this page, has taken somewhat longer and some detours.
But if you keep your eye on the target, it has not much to say which way you take.
