Historie

The Sabrina & Endre Duo consists of two musicians, Sabrina Sciacca from Sicily on vocals and bass and Endre Koch from Oslo on guitar and vocal harmonies.

Sabrina Sciacca has been singing and playing the bass in many bands in Italy since she was fourteen. She has always loved interpreting and singing other peoples songs. Three of her main inspirations are Norah Jones, Gillian Welch and Aretha Franklin.

Endre Koch has been playing the guitar for forever and during the latter years he has developed a very genuine tapping technique on his guitar where he plays with both hands on the fret board – inspired by such likes as Stanley Jordan and Ole Staveteig.

Together this international duo unites its different cultures and backgrounds – from the deep, dark of the North to the warm and sunny of the South, from introvert melancholy to the outgoing Sicilian madness.
